Stand by Me Episode 12

A Worthy Production...

Although this series doesn't have the budget of a ALP and has a pared down complement of actors, it is truly engaging to watch. Chen Yi can convey emotions with a subtle look, movement of his face, the way he stands or table raps his fingers. He is an extremely talented performer and any production is lucky to be able to utilize his talent. Chen Yi's leading lady stands on her own and is a good match. Her slightly ditzy, bubbly and naive personality is not grating on the nerves as was the case with the FL in The Legend of Zu 2. The supporting cast hold up the production well. Def worth a watch.
