AH-MAZZZZZING!!!
I really love this story. Not because I’m a Jisoo fan but because the acting of this straight from the first scene was breath taking. I mean these people are just pulling on my heart strings. Hurry up and release the rest of the series before I run mad?I really love this story. Not because I’m a Jisoo fan but because the acting of this straight from the first scene was breath taking. My Review of Snowdrop (Yes, I’m Rewatching It)
So, I’m rewatching Snowdrop… and honestly? It still hits just as hard—maybe even harder—the second time around. Knowing what’s coming only makes the emotional scenes more intense, and I catch so many little details I missed the first time. The chemistry between Jung Hae-in and Jisoo still gives me chills. I already adored their dynamic before, but on rewatch, I’m noticing how subtle and layered their performances are. Jisoo really nailed it—especially in those quiet, emotional moments where Young-ro is torn between her heart and everything falling apart around her. And Hae-in’s portrayal of Su-ho is just… heartbreaking. You can feel every ounce of conflict in his silence.
The setting, the cinematography, the music—it’s all still so hauntingly beautiful. The OST gives me goosebumps all over again. Every time that melancholy piano or vocal theme comes on, I just feel it in my chest.
What really gets me on rewatch is how tragic everything feels from the start, now that I know the ending. The foreshadowing, the brief happy moments—they're all so much more precious and painful now. It’s honestly one of those dramas that stays with you, even when you're not watching it.
Snowdrop isn’t just a love story—it’s about trust, loyalty, sacrifice, and the devastating cost of being caught in something bigger than yourself. And rewatching it just reminds me how powerful and underrated it really is.
10/10 still recommend… and yes, I’m crying all over again.

Awful
After 50 k-dramas, I'm here to write my first ever review. This is the worst drama I've fully watched which is largely attributed to how the writers crammed every character's death into the last episode and nullified the thousands of attempts at building suspense throughout the show. Not even the stacked cast lineup could save the plot from all its holes and illogical events. Was this review helpful to you?

Episode 9- All actors in this episode are terrific, except for one who is exceptionally bad
Wow, this should have been a great episode, but one actress really stinks. Sorry, I really wanted to like her, but Ji Soo can't act and is ruining this whole series for me. It was almost funny how she only has one expression, and her reaction to everything is a dumb stare with either a small smile or a wimper. All the other actors were great, so the problem doesn't lie with the Director. Maybe she gets better in future episodes? One can hope. Was this review helpful to you?
This next part contains spoilers so if you haven't watched the show yet I recommend skipping this paragraph. The only reason I am not giving this show a 10 is because of the plot holes like we didn't get the full story for a lot of characters especially Mrs. Pi and her story. I know a lot of people were also disappointed that Sohoo dies in the end and it's why a lot of people have given it a lower rating. As sad as it was I don't think it made the overall drama bad. In fact, I think the writers hinted at the impossibility of a happy ending from the very beginning. It's definitely a sadder drama so if you want to cry this drama will do that for you. This drama did a good job of showing the harsh reality of the North and the South's relationship through Sohoo and Youngro. It's one of those dramas that's so sad that it's good and so good that it's sad. The love story is so addictive and beautiful and you grow to love it more more as the story progresses. Each episode kept you guessing in a good way as well.
I highly recommend this to anyone especially those who love a lot of action, emotion, and romance. It will put you through all the emotions and might make you cry a little too much. The OST is also one of the most beautiful ones I've ever heard. I hope everyone will get past the ending of the drama and really see it for the overall beauty and message it portrayed.

Amazing drama
Snowdrop has easily become my favourite k-drama. It's only 5 episodes in and every episode has you sitting on the edge of your seat. The actors and actresses in this drama play their role amazingly and every character has an important role. Omg and the cliffhangers has me punching the air because I want to know what happens next, and they don't disappoint. I highly recommend this drama, especially if you want to go on an emotional rollercoaster. Also a big thumbs up for Jisoo and Haein their chemistry is seriously praise worthy. I already knew Haein is an amazing actor but Jisoo made my jaw drop!!! 100% is a must watch. Was this review helpful to you?
[Gonna be updating every week] I am speechless!!
Maybe its because how they both look so good and perfect togetherBUT i cant help but fangirl about them two, i cant stop squealing at the end of episode 3!!
I dont like the political side of the drama, the one involving Eun Cheong Su and some other guys. My favourite plotline of the whole show is of course the couple and Room 207 Girls xD and basically how they frantically try and hide Soo Ho from everyone else and having BunOk as the annoying girl and a b****. I also dont mind the plotline of where the police chases down SooHo, the suspense is so good! Especially the trailer for episode 4, like shit gonna get down!!!
The OST so far is also good, especially Eruption's One Way Ticket!
Rewatch value cant be fixed now, but im giving it a 10 first especially since its Jisoo's first drama :>
This show is good if you like slow/gentle romance with thrill and mystery! It's honestly such a good debut drama for an actor/actress as this whole drama plot will contain lots of turns and different feelings at different situations! Im super excited to see how the plot develops and what lead to them pointing guns at each other! [Not a spoiler, its in the trailer!]
EDIT 1 EP 5-7
cant help but sigh, so heartbreaking, all the betrayal, i cldnt help but cry along w her

Snowdrop
Snowdrop is a black comedy. In this Korean TV series, the 1987 student struggles are the backdrop for the drama. It shows the dangers of slavishly following political dogma and the evil nature of some humans. It is not an easy watch. There is violence throughout.
The love story doesn't take over.
There is no clear division between traditionally good and bad sides. Spies are uncovered throughout the series and some characters swap sides readily. Others kill by informing, by making trouble or by bullying. Even the female captives turn on each other with the most trivial of reasons.
The cast is very good from top to bottom. They are mostly young and to be applauded. With great respect, it is nice to see so much of Kim Mi-soo on the screen.
I think the script is very good but I know that there has been criticism.
Be kind.

Totally thrilling ride ..worth watching
First things first, I didn’t understood the backlash the show received. I even read articles to understand the backlash but still came to the conclusion that the hatred this show received is bit too much. Although I am angry at the writer for other things like dragging the hostage situation and making the show just about it.It’s the first episode that captures my interest in a show and snowdrop grabbed my interest fully with the beginning episodes. I loved the first 3 episodes, the 80s vibe, the first encounter of the main leads, the way jisoo’s character hid soo-ho in the dorm (ah women in love are something else), the open house event, and the bicycle scene ❤️It was all magical.
But it went down for me with the hostage situation. Especially when I realised in the 6th episode that this situation will probably last till the end of the show. I found it similar to money hiest with the hostage situation so thought to skip the show. But then I continued watching it for soo ho and was surprised to discover how every episode peels a new layer of the story and characters. It was thrilling to watch because there are soo many twists and turns within that dorm hostage situation that kept me hooked. I am not the one to watch a show if i have to forcefully drag myself to finish it but this show really kept me hooked until the last episode.
As it was jisoo’s first role as main lead, she did an okay job not very good but okay job . She overall not bad.
Lim Sooho has my heart, portrayal of his emotions in the hostage situation, his action scenes ,those cold expressions literally everything about him was superb. Loved his character.
I wish the writer had not prolonged the hostage situation that much and added few episodes before the hostage situation about love story between main leads.it could’ve been better. I feel bad as the main lead couple hardly had any memories outside the dorm.
