Two Guesses of Marriage (2022)

finale assurdo!

Ho visto questa serie incuriosita da trailer visto su fb e per il ML principale, molto bravo.
Pensavo di vedere una commedia romantica ma alla fine è diventata un melodramma. Il protagonista maschile è incentrato su stesso e sulla propria carriera. La famiglia serve solamente un rifugio dove poter soddisfare le sue esigenze quotidiane, o riversare la sua frustrazione lavorativa. Non è un marito, né un figlio né tantomeno un padre. La moglie deve sottostare al suo ideale di casalinga e madre, una serva della famiglia che egli stesso le impone.
È un uomo assente dall'inizio alla fine, capace a criticare e sminuire la moglie per le difficoltà che incontra la famiglia, reclamando il suo ruolo di capofamiglia (che non svolge). La lascia da sola nel momento più delicato di una donna (gravidanza e parto) delegando la sua responsabilità alla sorellastra , suocera e alla madre.
Tutti devono essere comprensivi nei suoi confronti perché sta lavorando per dare sostegno alla famiglia.
Ha bisogno che il suo ego sia sempre nutrito e blandito per le sue doti lavorative. È un opportunista che lascia indietro moglie e figli per avere ancora la possibilità di sentirsi apprezzato come professionista. Sembra avere qualche scrupolo ma perché incerto sui suoi sentimenti per l'altra. Ma poi l'altra è come la moglie prima del matrimonio ovvero affermata sul lavoro e indipendente. Alla fine però quando il castello di carte gli si sgretola, ritorna dalla moglie....
Non è un lieto fine. La moglie Shen Ming Bao non rispecchia la donna moderna e indipendente dell'era contemporanea soprattutto dopo essere stata trattata male dal marito fino alla fine lo riprende con sé. Quando nella scena finale gli darà la possibilità di avere un atteggiamento gentile come aprirle la portiera e invece lui sale in auto...no comment.
Shen Ming Bao non sei coerente.

Was good but not one to watch over and over again.

Dang Youku and their stupid clips on Facebook! This show caught my attention because of the female lead. She was not one to be pushed around and I loved that about her. Most dramas you see that they get walked on but this one she was strong. Thank you!

Storyline - had me hooked! I waited and waited for the last 4-5 episodes in anticipation! My anticipation was in hopes that the husband would wake up from his self absorption and make up with his wife. Dang romantic side of me! What was I thinking???

I was really really hoping the husband would pull his head out and see what a great wife he had. It was sad to see that all he cared about was his “validation” in his job and what and who made him feel good about hisself. I cried when he did not drop everything and rush to the hospital. He almost lost his wife and possibly his children but his job was more important and so was his boss. Sad that even after she had the children he pretty much left her. Never visiting her or the children. Never helped her when they were sick or in the middle of the night when they cried. He was a selfish man! I kept thinking, “Dude! When are you going to wake up? When are you going to see what your are losing?!!??” It was hard to watch him fall so far. But… I felt the wife handled it like I would have. To bad he was dumb and blind. He lost his family because of his stupidity and selfishness.

I liked the end. I felt that they could work it out. I was glad to see that HE was the one that went back to get her and not the other way around. The hint was there and I feel satisfied that they will be on the road to getting back together.

I liked the story. I really did. They went through so much together. I liked his mom and yes even his sister. They were two of my favorites in the end.

Acting/Cast - I loved the ML/FL and the rest of the cast. I felt they did a great job. I have seen the FL before and I liked her in this one as much as her other dramas.

Rewatch - I liked it but I am not sure if I would rewatch it. If I did it might be 6 months to a year or so from now. It is not one that makes me want to see it over and over again. But it was a good watch.
