A must - super sweet and adorable drama to watch in 2021!
After looking for something worth to watch eversince the drama You Are My Hero ended, finally! I found a new masterpiece again.This is really “sweet” Lovestory of all time. I found it resembled to Age of Youth because they are yearning for love and marriage — and the story not only focuses on ML & FL because each of supporting lead also has its own story from the beginning til the end. but while ponder about it, they’re both totally different.
I honestly thought that the story will only focus on ML & FL. But since the FL have BFFs, the writer is also thoughtful to complete the sidestories of her 2 bffs from the beginning til the end. That’s why I skipped a few of her bffs exposure hehehe, but it actually doesn’t affect the story.
I just love how consistent the writer with their lovestory. It’s NEVER confusing despite that the FL also involved in love triangle. From doubting their feelings with other to confesing, it was well planned. Also their acting is a plus point!
I usually watched Doctor dramas, but always about surgeons, physiologist, but this is TOTALLY DIFFERENT. They made it possible to craft a PERFECT STORY about a dentist and librarian. Super love it!
I also love that they didn’t make the story more complicated — only few minutes of unapproved parents, and so on.

After consideration
So I rewatched this drama recently and after it I decided to give this drama 10/10.The most appealing were the second lead , I loved their separate stories. Their relationships were so refreshing.
The main lead story was okey , without the others it would be boring.
Overall the drama deserves 10 if someone likes light-hearted dramas with little spice.

Wu Ying story was so heartfelt , younger male and older female stories brings a lot of pressure from the society but they made it trough all the obstacles and personally their story was the best out of all in this drama it made me want to watch another episode.

Ma Yi Yi story was great as well , she is a little childlike , it has some good points and minuses yet in my opinion more good points , this girl was one of the most sincere and she does not need much to make her happy.

Zheng Li story was cute and fluffy romance.
The ending was good not great I wish it had little side story as ending for all main characters but the little surprise at the end was something nice.

100% Warm Fuzzies.
When I meant that it was fluffy drama, I wasn't kidding. It's like an overdose of supposedly cute and sweet events leading to our leads falling in love, but I'm sorry to say that I found the main leads' storyline absolutely boring. I can't help but feel disconnected with their characters. Especially the three main female leads. I was able to enjoy scenes of them individually or with other supporting cast. But, once they were actually together, the 'comedy' part just fell flat. What was supposed to be funny came off as cringe.I loved Zeng Li's scenes when she was having her internal monologues or just thinking by herself.
The cast was trying their best, but some scenes looked not so natural and in character.
Don't get me wrong, this drama is not unwatchable by any means. It's aesthetically pleasing and has warm color tones that puts one's mind at ease. And it was shot in several beautiful locations that I found breathtaking. I'd suggest this to anyone looking for a candy floss drama with beautiful locations, good looking actors (who attempted to bring justice to their role) and fluffy love.
Another thing that I loved was the small lessons and thoughts that each episode had. They were really heartwarming.
If I could pick a character whom I was actually curious to watch, it was Wu Ying (and Liu Yu Cheng as an extension). Their storyline was kind of off as well, but I found it more interesting to watch. Deng Hao Ran is another character whom I absolutely adore for spilling the truth to Ma Yi Yi. To be honest, all the characters grew on me, but there was something still missing in the main leads. I don't know why, but the story is beautiful as a whole.
The OST is really, really beautiful. But, there were some instances I felt that it did not fit the ambience.
Overall, I can say it was very enjoyable. The only trouble I had was this constant disconnect with some characters that made me skip multiple scenes.
I literally kangaroo hopped through the drama.
I think it's time for me to admit that I've grown too old for dramas like these. But, this certainly could've been much better or interesting. I couldn't help feeling like they tried too hard. Yet, I would certainly ask you to give it a try. It gives you a lot of warm fuzzies.

Sweet sweet couple
I have watched this show several times because this is my go to series when I don't know what to watch. I really don't care about the other couples because I find them boring, but our main couple is where it's at.They start from strangers to doctor patient to friends to lovers gradually and it just seems so natural. You can see when the gear shifts smoothly and the ML is now actively wooing the FL, and she is enjoying the ride.
Like I said, I skip parts about the other couples. I also find how the girls keep complaining about how old they are utterly ridiculous. I mean, 27??? OLD??? Girls you haven't even lived!
But anyway, it is worth watching if only for the main couple.

Sweet to the point of getting cavities!
Visuals, cinematography, music all get 10/10. I don't have enough words to describe how plainly happy this drama made me feel. It was all about the emotions and understanding between the characters. All 6 main characters have their charms and the friendship is adorable. Emotional moments executed perfectly. There are not many dramas I obsesses to the extent of re-watching while waiting for new episodes. This one was.The dynamic between the friends is the best thing about the drama. The trust and understanding they share is so precious. Deng Hao Ran has to be my favourite of them all. He's a good friend and brother. Where can I order one?

Ai jingchu and zheng Li,my favorite couple from the three. Their late-night date was so lovely,it's one of m favorite scene in the drama! I love how they resolve their problems,they don't make it too long and rather,the problems were somehow enjoyable hehe..Ai jinchu is a definetion of a well-written character,so perfect!Zheng LI,although she is clumsy, I didn't find her annoying and rather, cute.They are perfect for each other indeed.Liu Yucheng and wu ying,the cute couple!jiejie romance has always been cute,and this is not an exception!I love both of the characters mentioned. Wu Ying seems to be like a cold person but actually,she's like a little kid when she's with the people she likes and when she's doing the things she likes. Liu Yucheng is of course,the cutie one.I love how he would go take care of wu ying all the time by preparing her food..He always respects wu ying and even though he is chasing her,he makes sure that he isn't going over the line..
Deng haoran and Ma Yiyi. One is a playboy and one is someone who falls in love easily.their characters are actually not my type but together,they actually make a good couple.Deng haoran is okay,he's a good brother to zheng li and also a great friend to the three.He spoils them whenever they're unhappy and actually makes them his first priority..Ma yiyi,she's annoying .i really hate it when she opens her mouth and go whine,it was a really huge distraction for me.I didn't skip any second though.at the later episodes,I actually came to like her.
Overall,i really love it and I enjoyed it so much.the vibe is exactly my type so it was really easy to watch.the cast were total eye candies!They did well on acting too of course.Some people finds FL's acting cringy,but i think she did great!This is what you call a rom-com done right ^^
also,the person who styled bi wenjun deserves a raise!his outfits are stunning..he extremely looked good in his uniform <3

The perfect modern romance in my opinion. If you need something light to watch that will cheer you up, this is it. The combination of a dentist and librarian seems odd but they made it work somehow. There aren't many heavy plot elements (except the one I'll talk about a bit later) or much stakes in this drama at all. There is no shortage of swoon worthy romance moments. I was blown away by all the actors' performances and their visuals are no joke. The pregnancy storyline was handled in a really uncomfortable way and I did not care for it at all. I recommended this drama to a friend and they watched it all in 1 night!Was this review helpful to you?

After watching several dramas with quite heavy theme (plotting, scheming, deception, etc.), I was looking for a lighter, fun, romantic theme and found this one.This drama is about friendship, family, seeking of true love, true self, and seeking of happiness. It is light, romantic, happy, a bit of sadness, and sweet. There are one main story, i.e. Zeng Li's story and two more stories about her best friends in seeking a perfect love and happiness. All stories blend well forming this 22 episodes drama.
Dentist Ai Jing Chu who is known as the most handsome in the university where he teaches there, and the hospital where he works. He is smart, diligent, kind, but a bit reserved and lack of social life due to his childhood past. He met with university librarian Zeng Li.
Zeng Li comes from a complicated family, when she grows up her family struggles economically and her parents quarrel and fight all the time impacting her childhood and school life. Eventually her parents got divorced and her mother re-married to have better security to support her. Even her mother remarried 3 times just to ensure that she can support her.
With her mother past experienced, her mother pushed her to go on multiple blind date to find good husband for Zeng Li. With several unsuccessful attempt, her mother came to conclusion that Zeng Li needs to align her teet so she may look more attractive. She forced her to go to the dentist. At the same time, Zeng Li misunderstood Ai Jing Chu as heartless playboy because she saw Ai Jing Chu in the process of breaking up with her friend.
When her mother made dentist appointment, Zeng Li tries her best to avoid being Ai Jing Chu patient. But faith played her, and at the end Zeng Li became Ai Jing Chu patient.
So, interaction begin between the two of them. In several circumstances they meet and helping one and another. Ai Jing Chu start opening her heart and so does Zeng Li. But there are still some obstacles in Zeng Li’s heart.
Besides as a librarian and coffee shop owner, Zeng Li is also a novel writer – she writes novel anonymously using Carol as her pseudo name. The novel is actually telling her childhood story and struggle, and her fondness of her childhood sweetheart who left her to study and work abroad.
While her relationship with Ai Jing Chu grows, she is still not sure on her feeling for him. Ai Jing Chu likes her but having difficulties in expressing his affection into confession, and Zeng Li who still unable to forget her childhood sweetheart.
The main story itself is interesting, that is the relationship between Zeng Li and Ai Jing Chu. Besides that, the side stories are also good. The side stories tell about Zeng Li’s two best friend love story. One is Ma Yi Yi the celebgram and the second one is Wu Yin, an ER physician.
So all three love stories are bending in quite nicely in the series. They are complimenting each other in showing how these besties are looking for a true love and happiness.
The way the story was told is flowing nicely. They are light and real. Not too exaggerating with some light comical element so it is very fun to watch.
It supposed to be rom-com so do not expect to have excellent acting – they are okay and adequate for a rom-com drama.
Just enjoy the story line and the sweetness of love.

Simple, cute drama❣❣
First thing I often found on CDrama is (no complain here 😊) how often that the FL have close friends and how good their relation are. No exception here, all the charachter are different but they can pull it out and make it believable. They are such a fun group with the brother as their piggy bank..LOLStory wise, its very simple with no drama, no cheating and no backstabbing. This is tge drama you may find enjoyable if you just want to enjoy light story with slightly cheesiness and funny scenes.

Simple and sweet romance of 4 best friends albeit a tinge of unrealistic coincidences.
First and foremost, the storyline is already good but could be better. This drama tries to convey the message of "the power of love will make one love a person unconditionally while putting aside societal standards and norms to lowering one's standard" with the depiction of a simple love life, yet unrealistic coincidences and encounterment of the couples. Sounds like a simple heartwarming romance yet not quite realistic in terms of how the couples meet, especially when the genre of this drama is mature. The storyline revolves around the simple love lives of 4 best friends (3 females + 1 male) with contrasting personalities. Zeng li, the protagonist, is a sweet and soft librarian that has been waiting for the right person to come into her life. While facing the societal pressure of ageing and marriage, she is resolved by the belief that one should only commit in a relationship with the right person. She turns down all the blind dates arranged by her mother while in hopes for her first love to return the love but changes her choice upon meeting her orthodontist, Ai Jing Chu. Their encounterment is the most unrealistic. She first met him at the library then coincidentally became her orthodontist before seeing him again in her subordinate's lecture and at the mountain. He's both a lecturer and an orthodontist, which is impossible in reality. Wu Ying, an emergency doctor, is a realistic, tomboyish and practical person yet she can be childish and impulsive. Unlike her feminine friends, she doesn't dress up and take good care of herself while having a fond for hoodies and mobile legend. She believes in the societal standard that a female should not marry someone younger than her, let alone having a baby when her partner is still in school and cannot support the family. But her childishness and impulsiveness is the reason why she put down these standards and ended up having a short gun marriage with Liu Yu Cheng, a Chinese medicine student younger than her by 6 years. Her relationship with Liu Yi Cheng is the cutest and fastest among all. Ma Yi Yi, a social media influencer, is a lovable and lively fashionista. In contrast to Zeng Li and Wu Ying, she faces the pressure of insecurity and time and is desperately finding a partner to tie a knot with. Because of this reason, Deng Hao Ran, broke up with her in the past while maintaining the closeness of their relationship. They still love each other and are always there for each other at their toughest times. Their relationship is the funniest among all but took the longest. It would be better if the writer created more scenes with more chemistry that lead to them going back together. It felt the bridging was not there/strong enough. One thing I like about this drama is that the uniqueness of the other two couples will not make you skip the scenes. The friendship between the three females and Deng Hao Ran is the sweetest. I really enjoyed watching their interactions together. Deng Hao Ran adores Ma Yi Yi but he doesn't compromise on taking good care of his other two female friends.Secondly, the choice of the cast was great. They are good-looking. All casts played their roles well that they put so much consideration in their acting so as to showcase the contrasting personalities of the three girls. In fact, the side characters outshine the main leads. I was more invested in the other two couples that I didn't skip the drama. Ma Yi Yi's carefree character lightens up the mood of the whole show. I love her character the most. The actress paid so much attention to her action including the way she speaks. Also, Wu Ying resembles Kiko Mizuhara. So when they zoomed into her face, It was not annoying.
Thirdly, I was in awe of the peaceful cinematography. I really like the pastel filters. They match the easy-going vibe of the storyline. I could tell where the story was heading with the filters. Also, I am in love with the cute animation of the 4 best friends in episode 1 (Deng Hao Ran carrying and dragging the three female friends out). If only they had more. I really like how they had the actors actually acted out the interaction to represent the texts messages in their group chat. They were really cute and interesting. It just gives you a reason to not skip the scenes. Also, they inserted actual footage of real couples getting interviewed to prove their point that love will just make you put aside societal norms and lower your standards.
Lastly, the choice of music was really good. The unique genre of the music completely matches the cinematography and vibe of the story.

SUGARED FRIENDSHIP & LOVE?
This drama has a heart-warming glow of romance brought by these 3 couples and an awesome kind of friendship which somehow relates me with my 2 buddies girls Krisya and Grasya😁. Whenever one of them is in a bad state, everyone did not missed a single chance to give comfort, encouragement, and support despite their busy schedule of their work. These 3 bestfriends may vary in terms of their personalities but they have only one common and that is how they firmly expresses their love towards their partners. As I've further watched the episodes, I cannot supress my laughter especially in the middle of the night that I almost forgot everyone's already at their own deep slumber😁. The love story of these 3 couples is just like an ordinary one in real life who also experienced disapproval of parents, break ups, arguments, sweetness and chessy lines, and the most exciting part is 'marriage'. The last episode really made me laugh so hard seeing Zing Li and Ma Yi Yi crying out loud as they've witness the wedding of their friend Wu Ying, so childish.......indeed they're really bestfriends. There's no heavy conflict present here only a light one, it is purely sweet romance with inclusion of craziness.
