Yae, an unremarkable girl working in a café and living with a friend, finds herself unable to afford rent when her friend suddenly gets married, and she loses her job in the same day! It’s only when her boyfriend dumps her that she finally hits rock bottom. She’s at her wits’ end when her childhood friend Takumi suddenly reappears into her life. Takumi suggests that Yae take on a part-time job as his “fake wife” for the next six months. He has his reasons for wanting people to think he’s married. Yae has no other choice but to accept his proposal, and in return receives housing and living expenses for playing the role of his “fake wife.” So begins a “fake marriage” with a time limit. Unbeknownst to Yae, she was Takumi’s first love, even though she thinks of him as nothing more than a childhood friend. Takumi struggles awkwardly but earnestly to win Yae’s heart and find true love. Even though their marriage starts as a sham, will the day come when this couple can become something more?
They both have a cool, pokerfaced, 'attractive' male lead. And a girl who is a bit naive. both have happy endings with a lot of love. the difference is that itzaura na kiss is about school life, whereas cruel romance is between two people that are living in a big city and are a bit older. Both are cute and have funny and sad scenes.
Both dramas have a "perfect" ML and "mediocre" FL falling in love. Also the ML in both dramas is helping the FL with her studies and they are cohabiting.
In P&C they are both adults and start with a student-professor relationship while in InK they are in high school to university. There is also no contract marriage in Itazura.
I enjoyed both.

Ayaka, who works at the bridal department at a hotel, has a beauty that everyone recognizes, yet her personality is the worst. Everyone calls her a "wicked woman" after the way she wraps numerous men around her finger. The one who sets his eyes on her is the hotel's new executive Togo, who is the son of a very powerful person of the town. What are the orders that this King-like man requests of her!?
Highly intelligent man who is extremely disciplined and unapproachable meets a girl who's his complete opposite. She is far from the brightest bulb---actually she's a broken bulb, highly emotional, but sweet and endearing. His IQ is genius level and he is able to memorize things on site. Lead female can't even speak Thai properly.
Much like in Itazura na Kiss the female character seems to embroil the lead male into a series of unfortunate events. All of which he needs to bail both of them out of. Perfect example---they need fresh water-- he ends up creating it out of salt water is similar to when Kotoko burnt the food and Naoki had to make dinner.
If you look at the picture; they made sure the image was reminiscent of ALL the Itazura na Kiss live-action posters ---Toey fits in perfectly, in physical features (if you look at the pic), with majority of the other girls who have revised the role of Kotoko Aihara.
All My Favorites listed in Order:
*Ariel Lin (Personal Fave-Everyone after copied her performance)
*Manaying Sushar (Brilliance--Just Wow!) <-Biggest Resemblance
<------ Toey is now here!
*Reina Visa
*Chuo Genie
*Miki Honoka
-------------------
**I don't like the Kdrama version so it's not included in anything.
Thai Version - Kiss Me
Original Japanese version - Itazura na Kiss
Taiwanese - It Started With a Kiss (personal best)
Japanese Jdoramas - Itazura na Kiss - extended name (ex. Love in Tokyo
Japanese Movie - Mischievous Kiss
China - Say that You Love Me
etc...over and over and over remake.
