Disgusting display of LGBTQ RELATIONSHIPS
This series is a conservative propaganda film on LGBTQ relationships. This is wrongly labeled as GL but the LGBTQ relationships displayed in this series are predatory and based on sexual trauma. The main character (Roithongsai) views her adopted sisters romantic interest as perverse and sexually deviant. I'm not saying LGBTQ people can't be sexually deviant. We certainly have examples of it in Hollywood (Kevin Spacey). But this whole idea that the main protagonist (Rangrong) is only attracted to woman because of sexual trauma. And that LGBTQ relationships are framed as being predatory and manipulative is a conservative narrative, and plainly stupid.
I think the woman who wrote this was in her 80's? Go figure! Tbf there was some good acting by the cast. But the story line of this whole series was a disappointment from beginning till end. Roithongsai even marries a man in the end. DISGUSTING!!
Lesbians SKIP THIS DOG SH*T!!

I feel like the story was mostly about a mentally unstable woman who throughout the story, became increasingly more so. In bits and pieces, we get glimpses into what’s happened in her past to make her this way. And in her mental instability, she hurts the person she cares about the most, thinking she is doing what is best for that person.
I think if the story was better presented than her being an obsessive, crazy woman going on a rampage against everyone who dares to help Sai escape from her, the story would have been more palatable. I think they tried, but the delivery just wasn’t quite there for me personally.
The last two episodes tie in everything pretty well. I originally gave this a 5 rating due to the earlier ending spoiler, but I’m changing that, because I’m ok with the end they eventually go with. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it either.
Cris nailed this role.
Zani slays the OST as always. The lyrics to the OST does an exceptional job of embodying Rungrong.
The cast did a wonderful job.
