Hm. I had read so many reviews about the plot of this being horrible...but I surprisingly enjoyed it. It was definitely a little all over the place, but at the same time it was quite cliche which made it easy to follow. The plot point of Eun Sang hiding her real economic class was honestly just frustrating because obviously there was going to be a dramatic reveal sceneCHOI YOUNG DO BROKE MY HEART. To be honest, he was a much more interesting character than Kim Tan, and it kills me that he didn't get THE happy ending.
Other two characters that were so good were Chan Yeong and Bo Na, who were one of the cutest, purest, drama-free ships ever. I loved them. And I want Krystal's English "Oh my god" to be my alarm tone. Honestly, her English was perfect, and it was the only one I could bear to listen to. The American actors, especially at the beginning (when the scene was set in LA) were so bad, and every conversation sounded unnatural.
One thing I didn't really like were just that there were SO MANY CHARACTERS. I totally thought Hyo Shin and Kim Won were the same person at the beginning. I didn't care about any of the adult ships at all.
I know a lot of people were annoyed by the OST, but I actually really loved the songs so much that I was down to hear them over and over again.

The story line covers every single K-drama trope that exists and brings nothing new to the table. Acting is alright( as you would expect from this cast) however PSH is an absolute vegetable as K-drama law demands and gets tossed around by the two main male leads. Soundtrack is pretty bad also, whenever an emotional moment is occurring, the soundtrack blasts "Love is the moment" into your ears and kills the entire mood, just a poor choice of song. The beginning of the drama is also pretty cringey, starting the in California(LMH's english is painfully bad and dialogue is awkward).
Overall, i would not recommend.

I love Lee Min-ho(•ө•)♡
I saw this one for Min-ho! ♡ I really like it, Park Shin-hye is very cute and i like the chemistry with her co-star.It's one of the first k-dramas I watched as a teenager!
I'm definitely going to watch it again at some point and I'll tell my boyfriend to watch it with me.

A Must Watch Show
I recently watched "THE HEIRS", and I am glad that I've seen it. Although after reading some negative reviews about this here, I was not sure of watching this, still I thought to give it a try. And I think, I took the right decision. This drama is all that you want: Friendship, Family, and Love. In the end, this is what everyone valued. Though I am not happy for Kim Won, he deserved to be with his love. But the crown was all he wanted from the very beginning. He gets that, but with the price of his love. I am really hoping for another season for this because a happy ending is what I always wanted in every show. And I think, Kim Won also deserves that, also Young do and Tan haven't become friends like before, and the chairman neither approved Tan nor he apologied to Tan's mother. So, I think they should at least make things clear for all.Though It was aired in 2013, still it connects you with today's world. I think it was a worth watch for me, those who have doubts please watch this.

High school fever!!!
My addiction to high school drama started with this. Park shin hye and lee min ho with woo bin and min hyuk' charming character made this drama amazing!!Park shin hye definitely suited her role or she made the role suit her. Her ability to make the character sync with her is an amazing ability as actress.
Lee min ho, well, age really doesn't matter and he proved it when he nailed it at acting like an underaged teenager.
Kim woo bin, well, his antagonistic but protective, misunderstood knight really suited him well. He's like a puppy that wanted to be pat but bites cause he's afraid to get hurt.
Min hyuk's presence just made the whole drama lighter. His smile is contangious.
Over all, its an amazing drama that hooked me long time ago. I remember rewatching this for more than 10 times!! 🥰🥰🥰

Drama and Romance
I love Lee Min-Ho; so I was down with watching this. What I liked the most is that even though there was a lot of the back and forth BS that I don't like, Cha Eun-sang didn't try to act like she wasn't in love with him. I'd watch again for certain scenes and skip all the USA scenes LOL!!! I also loved the fact that Cha Eun-sang and Yoon Chan Young continued to be best friends even though Yoon Chan's girlfriend was sometimes jealous. Also glad that they didn't hook up. Had this been an American show that most certainly would have happened!!!
I also liked the character of Choi Young-do. You really get to see his breakthrough from villain to good guy. he initially got on my nerves but I started to root for him! Not for him to be with Cha Eun-Sang but for him to continue to be a good person.
My favorite character hands down though was Park Hui Nam; Cha Eun-sang's mother. She was so awesome.

You should watch this one.
You would recommend this to others.
You could watch this again........but in parts.
I have never watched a drama where the negative character has impressed me more than the lead actor. Kim Woo Bin is a good actor. PERIOD. What a performance! I almost wished for the lead actress to end up with Woo Bin at the end (crazy huh?) While the drama is full of clichés, I didn’t mind it at all. Sometimes when you watch a drama without any expectations, it supersedes that feeling and you end up actually liking it. And that’s what happened to me with The Heirs. I had read the reviews earlier, and most of them seemed disappointing but I went ahead and watched it still and don’t regret it.
Go ahead and watch it, you won't be disappointed.

This is too predictable
The story is pretty predictable and non realistic. This evolves with a family melodrama having two mother, of course, the one and only son from mistress along with school bullying later falling both of the guy falling with love with female lead. Pretty absurd! Then two guys trying their best to get the female lead, kind of competing against each other with unnecessary dragging.I really hate why in every K-Drama a girl has be a poor girl living from hands to mouth and a boy has to be super rich with lots of family problems.

The story sucks if you take it too seriously. It really dragged in the middle, but the last two episodes were great. If we could've gotten more of that, less of California, and less of the unnecessary back-and-forth, this could've been a tight 16 episode show.
Our leads had no chemistry and had concerning power dynamics. The saving grace here was the huge cast of supporting characters. The highlights of course were Bo Na and Chan Young, but I also came to love the rest of them — Young Do, Myung Soo, even Rachel and Hyo Shin.
If I hear "Love is the Moment" 10 years from now, it'll still be too soon.

Drama so bad, it actually becomes entertaining
No spoilers but, yeah this has dog shit story and the writing frankly sucks, the characters suck, the love doesnt make sense like they met like a day ago yet already in love. But weirdly it made me watch the whole thing, like I am not going to lie this was one of the worst, dog shit stories I have ever watched. But I just treated more of a parody, and honestly it kept me entertainedWas this review helpful to you?
