A Must Watch Show

I recently watched "THE HEIRS", and I am glad that I've seen it. Although after reading some negative reviews about this here, I was not sure of watching this, still I thought to give it a try. And I think, I took the right decision. This drama is all that you want: Friendship, Family, and Love. In the end, this is what everyone valued. Though I am not happy for Kim Won, he deserved to be with his love. But the crown was all he wanted from the very beginning. He gets that, but with the price of his love. I am really hoping for another season for this because a happy ending is what I always wanted in every show. And I think, Kim Won also deserves that, also Young do and Tan haven't become friends like before, and the chairman neither approved Tan nor he apologied to Tan's mother. So, I think they should at least make things clear for all.
Though It was aired in 2013, still it connects you with today's world. I think it was a worth watch for me, those who have doubts please watch this.

High school fever!!!

My addiction to high school drama started with this. Park shin hye and lee min ho with woo bin and min hyuk' charming character made this drama amazing!!

Park shin hye definitely suited her role or she made the role suit her. Her ability to make the character sync with her is an amazing ability as actress.
Lee min ho, well, age really doesn't matter and he proved it when he nailed it at acting like an underaged teenager.
Kim woo bin, well, his antagonistic but protective, misunderstood knight really suited him well. He's like a puppy that wanted to be pat but bites cause he's afraid to get hurt.
Min hyuk's presence just made the whole drama lighter. His smile is contangious.

Over all, its an amazing drama that hooked me long time ago. I remember rewatching this for more than 10 times!! 🥰🥰🥰

Drama and Romance

I love Lee Min-Ho; so I was down with watching this.

What I liked the most is that even though there was a lot of the back and forth BS that I don't like, Cha Eun-sang didn't try to act like she wasn't in love with him. I'd watch again for certain scenes and skip all the USA scenes LOL!!! I also loved the fact that Cha Eun-sang and Yoon Chan Young continued to be best friends even though Yoon Chan's girlfriend was sometimes jealous. Also glad that they didn't hook up. Had this been an American show that most certainly would have happened!!!

I also liked the character of Choi Young-do. You really get to see his breakthrough from villain to good guy. he initially got on my nerves but I started to root for him! Not for him to be with Cha Eun-Sang but for him to continue to be a good person.

My favorite character hands down though was Park Hui Nam; Cha Eun-sang's mother. She was so awesome.

Should you? Would you? Could you?

You should watch this one.
You would recommend this to others.
You could watch this again........but in parts.

I have never watched a drama where the negative character has impressed me more than the lead actor. Kim Woo Bin is a good actor. PERIOD. What a performance! I almost wished for the lead actress to end up with Woo Bin at the end (crazy huh?) While the drama is full of clichés, I didn’t mind it at all. Sometimes when you watch a drama without any expectations, it supersedes that feeling and you end up actually liking it. And that’s what happened to me with The Heirs. I had read the reviews earlier, and most of them seemed disappointing but I went ahead and watched it still and don’t regret it.
Go ahead and watch it, you won't be disappointed.

This is my first Korean drama that I've watched. It makes me cry at some moment while relating with the characters of how they struggle to secure their love from their family with classes. Lee min ho is quite awesome and I have a crush on him after the first moment I saw him. I got so impressed by him that he became my korean love and I always put him in priority whenever search for a new drama to watch. His way of expressing the feeling of the character was so real and genuine that even the audience want a guy like him to be with.??

This is too predictable

The story is pretty predictable and non realistic. This evolves with a family melodrama having two mother, of course, the one and only son from mistress along with school bullying later falling both of the guy falling with love with female lead. Pretty absurd! Then two guys trying their best to get the female lead, kind of competing against each other with unnecessary dragging.
I really hate why in every K-Drama a girl has be a poor girl living from hands to mouth and a boy has to be super rich with lots of family problems.

Ahh, The Heirs. It's required watching to understand the memes and tropes of the kdrama world. You have to go into it knowing it's not particularly good. But wow, I can totally see how it's a guilty pleasure kind of watch. This is a Disney channel style show in kdrama form.

The story sucks if you take it too seriously. It really dragged in the middle, but the last two episodes were great. If we could've gotten more of that, less of California, and less of the unnecessary back-and-forth, this could've been a tight 16 episode show.

Our leads had no chemistry and had concerning power dynamics. The saving grace here was the huge cast of supporting characters. The highlights of course were Bo Na and Chan Young, but I also came to love the rest of them —  Young Do, Myung Soo, even Rachel and Hyo Shin.

If I hear "Love is the Moment" 10 years from now, it'll still be too soon.

Drama so bad, it actually becomes entertaining

No spoilers but, yeah this has dog shit story and the writing frankly sucks, the characters suck, the love doesnt make sense like they met like a day ago yet already in love. But weirdly it made me watch the whole thing, like I am not going to lie this was one of the worst, dog shit stories I have ever watched. But I just treated more of a parody, and honestly it kept me entertained

If it is Lee Min Ho's drama then there is no chance of disappointment. It is BEST!!!.A Must Watch !!! I'm mesmerized by all the lead actors & supporting cast. They are most popular actors now.So this drama is Superb collection of diamonds. I was hooked up till the end.I laughed, cried, scream because of amazing dialogues delivery of each & every actor.I should've watched this one earlier. But still thankful that I watched this.❤❤Lee Min Ho is the BEST .???? Chemistry between him & Park Shin Hye was great, favourite couple. She had done great job , those people who raised questions on her role are judgmental because her role was amazing & her steps on conditions was reasonable according to her life. But still they beautifully end up. One more most charming thing was in this drama is KIM WOO BIN OMG!!! he's superb & I'm speechless....???????? the most admirable second lead. Ost of this drama is best special "here for you " & "Love is the moment " they are my favorite. Loved it .

One of the Best K- Drama's

I thoroughly enjoyed this drama - I think its one of the best K drama's I have watched.. The main cast (Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin) all did a brilliant job...although its a Cinderalla type (rich boy-poor girl story) I loved the story except for the ending which was kinda rushed, and some characters was not developed. Don't get me wrong it had a happy ending for the Male & Female Lead...but wouldnt have been bad if the wedding was shown.. there were some very fun, romantic scenes & comedic scenes.

Cute and Simple

I'm very late to watch The Heirs as it did not seem to be a K-drama I would be interested in but it pleasantly surprised me.

Not the best K-Drama I have seen by far, but definitely not the worst. I found it enjoyable to watch as the supporting roles were amazing and funny, the plot (although not great) was consistent throughout the whole 20 episodes and there were not too many plot twists to confuse me.

Maybe due to watching this very late I found it terribly cliche and predictable as I have watched similar ones before, but sometimes a typical rich lead/ poor lead is good to watch as you see social class differences in this drama.

Overall The Heirs is a good watch if you have a ton of free time on your hands and don't want to get too invested in a drama.

Another storyline that was great! I really enjoyed this KDrama. Another KDrama that was long in Episodes but worth it. Lee Min Ho is great in anything he stars in. I'm glad the cast was able to be in Hollywood CA for the first few episodes. Lee Min Ho can speak pretty good English. I have a question, is there a fountain of youth in South Korea because these actors and actresses can actually pass for teenagers? Either the makeup crew is great or South Korea is great for staying young. I'm impressed! The main lead actress Park Shin Hye did pretty well being the love interest of LMH's character. I thank all the cast members for doing great as well.

This storyline in the present day shows me that anyone who is hierarchy will try to crush each other for the throne similar to their Dynasty days.
