I've been trying to watch this episode for months and I'm so bored I can never make it to the end. I don't get the references, and the jokes are super corny. This will get better, right? o.O

i just started watching it ... finally...
and i could not stop laughing my brains out...
my mom even knocked at my door and asked if was loosing my head...
i really liked how Reply 1997 surprised me but i have a feeling that Reply 1994 is going to surprise me even more...

the thing that i loved the most in the previous Reply series are the voice overs...i still do...

I had almost next to no plans of watching the sequel to Reply 1997. I loved the first season immensely and it seemed like this wouldn't live upto those expectations.
The first episode proved me very wrong. The characters are likable and the cast is great. The humor seems fresh and the best part is that even though it's different, it still seems to have the charm of its predecessor season. I hope they will keep the mood of the drama consistent.
Luckily I watched this episode after the second one also came out so I watched both of them back to back! It was one of the most hilarious episodes I have seen in a while. Daebak!

I have not watched Reply 1997, so I am sure unlike other people while I am watching the drama I wont compare this one and the other, which is way I might have enjoyed it a bit more than others. I think the drama was amazing I just love the relationship between the girl and her brother its so funny, I like the cast and I was surprised at how much I liked the drama. I just hope it wont be a disappointment later on :)

It was a good first episode and thankfully not identical to the first installment. There are familiar elements-fangirling (basketball instead of kpop), the mother making extremely large quantities of food, mystery husband and physically abusive female lead.
