The pain of mourning the death of Xiao Ta Lin causes Xiao Shi and Wen Rou to drift apart. Xiao Shi decides to accompany Liu An Shi to the capital despite being a wanted fugitive. Knowing Meng Zhen is near death, Chou Fei makes his move and faces off with him. Meng Zhen takes precautions to ensure no one from House of Sunset Drizzle is hurt.
