were they seriously flirting while comforting that "sick" grandmother? really? and guess i'm seeing thing lol but when Caloy was "helping" John with the water-pump, he tots had a hard-on when he went to the other side - or my eye's playing tricks on me?!? OMO (¬‿¬)(¬_¬ ) the only saving grace this Short. otherwise i think i would bail, cause really the acting not getting better, the plot is all over the place - u have to fill in the blanks. not enough we got 2 grandkids that idk how they related (as in, they from a brother and sister - sister and sister? what?!? cause that granny only mentions Caloy's mother). now we got another grand-son Alfie that's a bit of a weirdo, cause like everyone else and John, thought he was a freakin ghost - but the jokes on us?!? cause he granny's grandson, just he hangs in the fields - like WTAF so random
let alone Caloy village that consist only of 4 people - really?!? let alone why that Dita (or however she is called) so full of hate towards Caloy, what he do murder her parents? or his coming means she gonna lose out on some inheritance? considering that granny told Caloy his mother made her buy all that land he entitled to it or a part of it - no? oh idk this plot Needs work!

Lakan (2020) Episode 3: Muling Pagkakataon

A series of typhoons in the Philippines messed up Lakan. The shoot location was heavily damaged and the set was thoroughly ruined. It seemed that the plot/storyline for Episode 3: Muling Pagkakataon (Another Chance) was even adjusted to incorporate the devastating effects of the typhoons that ravaged the mountains and the lowlands. The two parts didn't have clear continuity. On the first part, Caloy and John worked the fields and they seemed to get along well. Then on the second part, Nanay Zeny, John, and Caloy had to suddenly move to an evacuation center for safety. I hope this detour doesn't have major implications on Lakan's plot/storyline and I hope that the people behind this series are still able to tell the story they want to tell. Screenplay was still cringy at times. Acting was the same as previous episodes. Audio-visuals were uneven. There were unnecessary sounds and some camera shots were too dark. All in all, I'm hope this series is able to get back on track on the next episodes.
