The game is based on her favorite book, and she plays as one of the characters to try to change the ending. However, The Untamed takes place in ancient China, which is totally different from The Spirealm, but it still has some similarities between them. The whole story is pretty comlicated if you ask me in both of the series. You'll have to really pay attention, if you miss something, you can get lost easily. There are lots of good side characters, which is not really common, they're very likeable and greatly played out. But, if i'm gonna talk about acting, The Untamed made me laugh by the worst acting i've ever seen. The acting doesn't include main characters, they were extraordinary. I'm gonna talk about side side characters. They weren't almost seen, maybe that's why it was so bad. Just look at some fighting scenes, you can see clearly what i'm talking about. I think they forgot that we can see them, i don't know.
The Untamed is lacking some good CGI effects, it's something that i hated when i fisrt watched it. But don't be mistaken, the show is really good overall, but this is something that stands out a lot. There's no way we can change it, let's just recognize the fact and move on.
I feel that if you liked one of these, you'll like the other. It has the same vibe and energy, terrifying and tension moments, sad and torturing scenes, but also some nostalgic and pleasant moments that makes you feel odly satisfying.
