Amazing BL
All I can say is don't let anyone discourage you from watching this, it's worth it, it's a great drama and the storyline works with the name it's all abt being close to the one you love.Sure it has it flaws but they make up for it as they improved, people just jumped to conclusions about this series before giving it a chance and that was where the issue began.
Licheng and muren relationship is just fucking amazing, cute , funny, hot and they did great.
Fu yong je and xing si relationship had a rocky start but when you chose to understand where their love is coming from you would understand why it had to be that way from the start
Overall this drama is great watched it twice already 😊, I miss them already.

Not because this series is not worth watching, but if we look at another histories before this, both of them have a huge quality that is far above of this series.
The recurring story about the love affair between siblings, with simple conflicts between the main characters, makes this series seem like a fad.
This series is saved precisely thanks to the professional-looking acting of the main leads, because even from the musical side, this series doesn't seem to have the slightest good side.

Ekspektasi saya sepertinya terlalu tinggi terhadap history 4, sehingga sekarang yang saya rasakan begitu kecewa terhadap series ini.
Bukan karena series ini tidak layak ditonton, tapi jika kita melihat 2 series history sebelum ini, keduanya amat sangat memiliki kualitas yang jauh diatas series ini.
Cerita yang terulang kembali soal percintaan antar saudara, dengan konflik yang juga sederhana antar tokoh utama membuat series ini nampak seperti iseng saja dibuatnya.
Series ini tertolong justru berkat akting para pemain yang nampak professional, karena dari sisi musikpun series ini nampak tak ada sisi bagusnya sedikitpun.

Disappointed!
-Neg:1. I dont liked Teng Mu Ren Facial expression. I wanted him different from his Behave. (Relaxed and little more manly)
2. That Teng Mu Ren ran away from his feelings and met with Xu Shao Fen. (instead of talking to Xiao Li Cheng) I didn't like that.
3. Too few love scenes. I wanted to see a little more wild love scenes of the Two couples.
4. Too few kisses
5. When some love scenes got exciting, the scene was suddenly changed. That really bothered me a lot.
6. Too much talk from episode 9-10 to 20. that could have been reduced.
7. Where Teng and Xu slept together but still had their underpants on. I was disappointed.
8. It was a pity that Xu Shao Fen didn't stay sexy and manly. That suited him best than the childlike behavior.

I have to say this was an excellent showI have seen it twice now and it doesn't disappoint, the acting is excellent and and so is the script, the story evolves quite naturally and floes, no one lets this show down, for me its a must watch.It does help that the guys are very hansome, I have enjoyed quite a few Taiwanese dramas over the past few months, well done to all involved.

Incredibly good!
Two episodes in and I am addicted! The first episode set up the story and introduced all the characters. The acting of the four main leads is fantastic. It would be hard to say which actor I like the most as they are equally good. The chemistry between the actors makes it so believable. The storyline is sooo good...and funny. I can't wait to see each episode. Although I watch it on viki.com, I wish I could pay to see the whole series at one time. It would be worth it. Cliche and morally problematic
I generally support the BL genre and LGBTQIA+ representation in Asian film/media; however, this drama was ridiculously problematic and very uncomfortable to watch (despite only watching four episodes fully). To start, the 腐女子 coworkers. It's one thing to know those types of people exist in the world (sure), but to seem them portrayed in a BL drama to add nothing more than, well, drama felt tasteless. The male lead taking the advice of his 腐女子 coworkers in order to get closer to the female coworker he had a crush on led to some really awkward and borderline harassment situations.Apart from that, I can look past the step-brother unrequited love arc, but I draw the line at this drama romanticizing rape. Not only is one of the male leads an obsessive stalker, he also assaults another male lead who seems "too close" to his stepbrother whom he is pining for. Take that a step further when he intentionally gets the stepbrother drunk and rapes him—let's not forget the jarring choice of music which would have you believe the sexual encounter could have been consensual. What really got me was how the characters talked about what happened post-rape and how either being "1" or "0" could have changed the situation. The fact of the matter is that one character took advantage of another one and violated them.

Li Cheng and Mu Ren great others no
I skipped all the scenes with Yong Jie. I would be banned from the internet if i said what i would have done if i was their friend. He wouldn't get that weak B slap that he got. He would be lucky if someone peeled me away before he left this world. I read spoilers because during watching the 1st episode i googled who is the creepy stalker. Wanted to throw hands after reading the disgusting story that is the other 2. Both of them need severe mental health care. Pscho step monster needs to be in jail along with his mother. Xing Si's father needs a beat down as well because from what i read he's a terrible father who doesn't do anything about that demon spawn drugging and R his own child.Was this review helpful to you?
Love only step brother love
I like the step brother love only, everyone like yong jie and he was the best so give him full marks, other couple I dislike not handsome at all ! So if someone hate them pls get lost ok, u are totally suck and please leave BL too ! Dont talk nonsense here. Yong jie and his brother love make me want to watch more and more, his brother was so soft and yong jie was scheming and cool, his acting was really good and I love the rxxx scene omg ! Expected it to become better(in terms of direction/acting/quality)compared to other history seasons.
History series has some good ones like MODC, trapped where everything was good. So it's normal that you'd expect a better comeback, at least I did. As I started watching it, I felt so irritated for a bit. THE CAMERA WORK is absolutely the worst, I mean it was so unstable it was as if the cameraman was flying in the air or smthn, sometimes he would just move it like a lightening, and the other times he would film their nostrils, like what?!!! As far as I remember History 1 was way too better than this.The acting; Okay, I understand that Li Cheng's character is hyper active sometimes, but I cringe when all of a sudden he tries to act crazy or cute out of nowhere. And his acting is so bad! I don't even know whether it's the director's fault or the actor's, because he's literally overdoing it to make it funny(like some typical thai bl dramas). Their acting wasn't even natural at all. I mean almost every scene like pushing, fighting, "quarelling" looks so fake. It's either over done or no feeling at all.
But the girls did a great job though! Better than those leads I felt. They represented typical Fujoshis in a good way it was funny to watch them together.

It not the best but it works(?)
First of all I understands it’s not the best of the History franchise, just wanted to get this off our shoulders.(MY OPINION )
Plot:
Tbh the plot was “ehh” it really is problematic and is putting a lot of us BL fans in a comprising position, like it’s very stereotypical, and disrespectful towards the lgbtq+community,
Yes I do understand it’s bl and “comedy” (I guess?) but it doesn’t excuse what they are putting out there into the world.
Acting:
Its a hit or miss for me, bc it’s not bad but o would expect History to have better acting skills than other BL out there. Although I would say History picks one of the best looking ppl, and their style of clothing choices are impeccable like that’s the only reasons I am able to watch this without cringing.
Music:
Tbh I don’t even pay attention to the music so....
Rewatch/Overall:
I wouldn’t watch it again anytime soon, but if there legit wasn’t anything to watch I might consider it. It’s not that bad I would certainly recommend this to ppl but not as a first choice, and keep in mind this is just a show and bl, I don’t want ppl to be angry at something so stupid, being a long time member of the bl community I am used to the hate and bad looks, this show isn’t doing any justice, but I go with this as something as YYY(Thai bl crackhead series) and not taking it seriously.

Desafiador porém não deixa de ser muito bom.
Antes de tudo saiba que o ultimo ep tem cenas INCRIVEIS! essa foi uma das reviews mais desafiadoras a se escrever, realmente a historia tem pontos PESSIMOS e escrotos e é de longe o HIStory mais decepcionante mesmo tendo tanto roteiro e episódios. É inegável dizer que a produção e a atuação não foram nota 10, desde do papel mais bobo das fujoshis até o pai do xingsi. A ost é maravilhosa. Acho que as pessoas estavam tão acostumados com a linha do tempo do primeiro history até trapped de só ter melhoras e historias incríveis que esqueceram as coisas que aconteceram para esse history acontecer, tem muitos pontos ruins na historia que são recorrentes nos bls e na vida real. Você dá uma nota baixa depois daquele discurso que o pai dele fez é a maior injustiça do mundo. Essa historia tem pontos incríveis e que merecem muita atenção, o plot foi bom, History 4 conseguiu manter o nivel elevado dos historys antigos (mesmo sendo a temporada mais fraca) e ainda sim conseguiu ser diferente e se destacar em meio a tantos dramas ruins desse ano. A voir pour un des couples
Je ne sais pas du tout comment noter ce drama, les deux couples, liés, et les deux histoires, ne m'ayant pas du tout enthousiasmée de la même manière.1. Yong Jie / Xing Si : 5.5/10. Couple difficile, difficile à apprécier, difficile à comprendre. Je n'ai pas de problème avec le côté demi-frères, l'amour c'est l'amour. Par contre, Yong Jie est vraiment difficile à aimer. Son amour pour son frère n'est pas de l'amour, c'est de l'obsession, de la manipulation, de l'égoïsme et de la criminalité. Je ne dis pas qu'il n'est pas attachant par moments, il comprend les émotions de Xing Si, il vit sa vie en fonction de ce qu'il faudrait pour son frère (sa carrière, l'argent...), il accepte d'être celui qui soit détesté, il accepte même de s'effacer... Oui mais non en fait, c'est ce qui est dit (l'utilisation du carnet intime pour nous faire comprendre à quel point il est dévoué à son frère est ô combien cliché), mais dans les faits, il attaque les amis de son frère, il s'introduit chez les gens, il viole son frère, le menace de se suicider, est extrêmement désagréable avec ses connaissances et sa famille... Il est la représentation la plus parfaite du "gaslighter" avec Xing Si qui insiste pour être le responsable dans cette histoire, sa mère qui le laisse violer son frère (mais qu'est-ce que c'est que cette famille ?) après avoir entendu l'explication la plus tordue qui puisse exister... Sa justification du viol n'est par ailleurs absolument pas cohérente. Non pas qu'un viol puisse être justifié, mais s'il voulait recevoir la haine du père en lieu et place de son frère, n'aurait-il pas pu simplement faire semblant ? J'aime pourtant les personnages possessifs et jaloux (dans la fiction et à un degré acceptable), j'aime profondément les personnages imparfaits qui évoluent tout au long d'un drama, mais là le gars est clairement un psychopathe (obsessionnel, aucune empathie, violent, égoïste, manipulateur). Un personnage n'existe qu'au travers de ses auteurs et de ses interprètes, ici, l'auteur a clairement essayé de justifier le comportement criminel de son personnage, mais ça n'a pas fonctionné, en tout cas pour moi. Quant à Xing Si, c'est un personnage gentil... et c'est vraiment à peu près tout. Il a peur de faire du mal à son entourage, il a peur d'être lui-même, il est heureusement entouré par des personnes qui lui veulent du bien (ses deux meilleurs amis). C'est finalement un personnage assez plat, la douceur à la violence de Yong Jie. Ce couple est composé de deux extrêmes qui ne m'ont pas parlé.
2. Li Cheng / Mu Ren : 9/10. Ils représentent probablement ce que j'aime le plus dans le BL. Un couple quasi-opposé, qui se chamaille à tout bout de champ, qui se connaît parfaitement et qui est présent l'un pour l'autre. Physiquement, c'est un feu d'artifice. Charles et Anson sont très beaux séparément, mais ensemble c'est une explosion visuelle. Dès qu'ils apparaissent ensemble à l'écran, ça fait des étincelles. Leur caractère tout comme leur visuel sont si différents, opposés, mais délicieusement complémentaires. Je ne crois pas avoir jamais vu de représentation aussi parfaite de personnages Chien/Chat. Par ailleurs, pour les fans de mode, la garde-robe de Mu Ren est un enchantement, on assiste à un défilé à chaque épisode. J'ai dévoré ce drama uniquement grâce et pour eux. Alors certes tout n'est pas parfait, la tension retombe un peu en fin de drama, l'utilisation du quiproquo est un peu redondante, tout le cinéma autour de top/bottom est assez daté (même si ça a le mérite de poser la question à l'inverse de ce qu'on a l'habitude de voir), mais ce couple est un bonheur. Ils sont beaux, ils sont drôles, ils sont sexys, ils sont adultes (mais pas trop). Un bonheur je vous dis !
Le retour des personnages de Make Our Days Count est sympathique.
PS : un clin d’œil au duo de "fujoshi" auquel je me suis gentiment identifiée
PS 2 : la BO est incroyable
