This is by far the best BL I have ever watched.
The story is unique and interesting. I watched each episode fully, without having to skip parts because the episode was boring, or nothing was happening, like many BL's I've watched. The story wasn't confusing and it was easy to understand, there weren't a lot of couples to remember. One big part of it is that usually, I either like the main couple more or I like the side couples more. But I enjoyed each couple, and couldn't wait to see more of each of them. Likeable side characters are really hard to pull off in any series, but this one did it.
The main couple had a lot of chemistry, speaking they had already been a couple in a separate series. And when watching them interact I never felt uncomfortable or awkward for the characters. The acting was amazing, and it didn't make me look away or cringe.
The characters weren't annoying or cringy, or stereotypical. Almost every single BL i've watched had a cringy feminine bottom, and more masculine top, but it wasn't like that at all. It was a gay couple, and represented two men, both liking masculine things, not like a straight couple, (Masculine, feminine.)
There was no rapey character, or any sexual assault, all sexual and romantic interactions were consensual. (Which is hella rare to find in any BL.) Also the romance wasn't repetitive, or overdone.
I also liked how they represented the deaf/disabled, and how differently they are treated in work settings, you hardly ever see that.
I thought that the twin connection between black and white was cool, I also haven't seen that in a BL.
Also totally biased here but bikers guys are super hot so that was nice-

Be the change you want to see in the world
I loved everything about this one. The political aspects and little jabs at things that are happening, the characters that have deep reasoning for what they are doing, the development of said characters, the pacing, the oh-so-beautifully-placed soundtrack, the actors displaying each emotion so beautifully that it made my heart ache along with them... I could go on about why i loved every second of this series, but all i got to say is: Go watch it, you will not regret it. The production team did a great job and to say that they were brave to put this out would be nothing but the entire truth. Was this review helpful to you?

fight for love and peace
Not gonna lie, i watch it because of offgun but i wasn't disappointed!Gun acting is still on point as ever.
The storyline is completely different with what they have done before in a good way.
It was surprisingly good!!
I am in love with the scene under the LGBTQ+ flag, everything was perfect in that scene.
The two twins were really distinctible for one another thanks to gun's acting.
I also really loved how the actors really portrayed the evolution of the feelings through their eyes!!!

Not only a BL romance but foremost an action drama providing some actual societal criticism
Most of the BL dramas I saw focus primarily on the romance between the characters and have for background a set up providing some narrative arcs around school projects, youth clubs or business prospects. Some might incorporate fights as well as a way to show off some cool gang scenes. "Not Me" takes here another direction with a story not just centred on romance but approaching societal topics such as social inequality, injustice, LGBTQ+ rights and how Art can be a way to criticize societal issues. Action scenes are intrinsic to the plot as a way to discuss how to make society change either through demonstrations or even violence to make a point. The chemistry between the 2 main leads is great and totally believable, their relationship is building up gradually, it is a very good slow-burn. The twins plot is overall well acted and is a good twist to the romance, as it brings up a lot of angst and thrills to the development of the relationship. Overall acting of the secondary characters was pretty good with the exception of maybe some less enticing adults and enemies roles.
The production and directing are not the best: some jumping action sequences are too over-the-top to make sense, as well as some of the fighting scenes which are bit too cheap with some of the blood / make-up appearing rather fake. The editing is also sometimes all over the place with a few abrupt cuts making some of the narration kind of choppy.
Despite this, the drama remains all along highly entertaining and even riveting at some point as the plot unveil itself. The OST is really pleasant to listen to, not to overpowering and pretty balanced with the show.
I would recommend this to people looking for a more serious action packed story with some angsty BL relationships and a well-executed slow burn romance.

AMAZING BUT ANTI-CLIMACTIC
A quick reviewThe entire show was great. The last episode just didn’t do it for me as most of the action was skipped. The issue didn’t really get resolved properly and I wanted more action in the last episode.
The acting was perfect. The music too, most of the story was entertaining. The four guys did great and had friendship chemistry as well. It felt like it also could have been a non romance as well. Guns two character performance was also great,
Eugine was a very annoying character. Her romance with Gram felt very forced and I just didn’t support it. Still a minor thing though.

OffGun
So I might sound bais, and I do believe that I might be bais, but offgun was really whole reason show was really good to me. The story was absolutely amazing, as well as acting. The story really had me in a choke hold cause I was really invested in who attacked Black. The romance part of the show also pulled me in cause offgun, as well as the side couple.
Well anyway my review needs to be longer. Um, I really like how they had the twins look, the angles they did was amazing with that. Although I wish they did the thing they did in Liv and Maddie, but I'm not complaining that much. I'm just saying stuff so I can post this review

Who hated this show? Not Me!!!
Okay... For the life of me, I don't understand why I put off watching this show. I am not too much into political dramas, so I kept postponing this one for the same reason I delayed watching Vincenzo and Revenge of Others... I was not sure I will like it. Then I watched Senior Secret Love (both parts) and Theory of Love. Something about OffGun clicked, and Pride Month started, so I said okay.. How bad can it be?That I was pleasantly surprised is an an understatement. I was completely mesmerised by the sheer storyline, the cinematography, the acting... Everything just blew me.
Story: usually GMM TV has the habit of ruining great premises with weak execution, but Not Me does not have that flaw. A brilliant story, designed to keep you on the edge of your seat, and keep you waiting for more. The director went all out to perfectly balance the glaring dystopia in our world with the utopian world that our leaders want to present. I think that was really well done. The story felt real because it was steeped in reality. All of us have faced discrimination at some point and there are many idealists as well as rebels amongst us, who wish to change the face of the society we live in.
Acting: Kudos, I mean seriously kudos to the person who decided the cast. Mond as Gram and First as Yok simply blew my mind. Both the girls were cast well, and for a change, were not cruel, manipulative bitches out for revenge! But in my honest opinion, it was Off as Sean and Gun as Black/White that made me just go crazy in love. What was completely unexpected was the actual change in Sean's eyes and behaviour as he started falling for White(who for him was Black at that point). I must talk here about the scenes with the trust falls, their kisses and that first time they had... How Gun talks about the beating heart made me feel like it was mine that was beating. I also have to talk about the scene where Sean confesses to who he thinks is his 'Black' but is actually the real one. The helplessness is Sean's eyes when the actual Black beats him up made me want to pick him up and tuck him in bed! And OffGun... Please come back with more, I beg of you!
Music: Everlast by Will van de Crommert is my Pride Anthem... It is now on loop in my Spotify and I keep listening to it. Other songs are also great... The closing thème by OffGun is definitely worth a listen. Songs are placed well and don't take away from the beauty of the show at all!
Re-watch value: 10000/10... Even more... I have already re-watched it like 3 or 4 times, and every time I find something new that catches my interest. So definitely go for it!!
Recommendation: strongly recommend you guys to watch this one... I think I can safely say that this one is one of the masterpieces of 2022!!

One of the only series that I genuinely loved from OffGun
Not Me is honestly one of the best Thai BL series I’ve seen, and I couldn’t wait to talk about it. This show does so much more than just tell a love story — it’s about identity, activism, and how love can be messy and complicated. And the acting? Absolutely AMAZING. If you love shows with emotional depth, real character growth, and a bit of social commentary, Not Me is definitely for you.
The Acting: SO Good
First of all, the acting in this show is next level. *Off Jumpol* (who plays Me) and *Gun Atthaphan* (who plays Black) are honestly perfect in their roles. The way they bring these characters to life makes the whole show feel so real, and you can feel every emotion they’re going through.
**Off Jumpol**, as Me, really nails the character’s confusion and vulnerability. Me starts out not fully understanding his privilege and the world around him, but as the series goes on, you can see him slowly begin to change. Off does such a great job of showing how hard it is for Me to reconcile his feelings for Black with the realities of their very different lives. Every time Me is caught between what he wants and what he knows he should do, you feel that inner struggle.
And then there’s **Gun Atthaphan** as Black. Black’s character is so passionate, especially when it comes to activism, but his love for Me complicates things. Gun plays that inner conflict so well — it’s like you can see Black trying to balance his dedication to the cause with his personal desires. His performance is so emotional, especially when Black has to make tough decisions that hurt him and Me. Gun really brings the character’s depth to the surface.
The Story: More Than Just a Love Story
What I love about *Not Me* is that it’s not just a typical BL about two guys falling in love. The show brings in really important themes like social justice, privilege, and finding your identity. It’s about Me and Black’s relationship, yes, but it’s also about how they navigate the world and the struggles that come with their different backgrounds.
The tension between them is so real. Me, at first, is kind of naive about how different his life is from Black’s, but as he gets more involved in Black’s activism, he starts to see the world in a new way. This brings so much complexity to their relationship, and it’s so refreshing to watch. It’s not just about their feelings for each other; it’s about how love and activism mix — and sometimes, how they clash.
Throughout the series, you really see Me grow as a person. He has to face the reality of his privilege and learn how to stand with Black in the fight for justice. Watching him evolve is such a rewarding experience, and you get to see how much their bond grows as they each come to terms with their roles in the world.
Final Thoughts
*Not Me* is a beautifully made series that combines deep, emotional storytelling with real-world issues. The acting is phenomenal, and the way the show deals with identity, privilege, and love is so well done. If you’re looking for a BL series that goes beyond just romance and brings in a lot of heart and meaning, *Not Me* is definitely one to watch. It’s a show that stays with you, makes you think, and leaves you feeling all kinds of emotions. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into something more meaningful and impactful.

Great series!
I really love this series. Gun's acting was remarkable. I have a couple of complaints though.First, Gram annoyed the hell out of me, like I get Black didn't treat Gene that great but come on dude, he's supposedly your friend. Idk, that just annoyed me.
Second, there's unanswered questions. Like when White was acting as Black, their dad didn't question where he went? Black fought those officers at the hospital but received no punishment, or he never got caught? Lastly, they all had classes but hardly attended?
Honestly, I would like a second season to see what everyone done after the last mission, like what was Black going to do? Also, would have loved more interactions with Dan and Yok. (I love FirstKhao but I still wanted moren🫣)
Overall, even with my complaints it's a great series, I would rewatch it!
