The villagers manage to process the coffee in time. but the merchant's henchmen scheme to destroy the coffee because he doesn't want to honour the deal he made. His henchmen manage to burn the coffee stock even though Chan and In are supposed to guard over it. Thofah rushes into the fire to save the coffee. Her action inspires the villagers to do the same to save their coffee. Thofah almost gets hurt when she goes in to save the last bag of the coffee but Khunkhao runs in to save her. Thofah and Khunkhao start to investigate the source of the fire and they come to suspect Arak, the merchant. Thofah falls sick from all the exertion.
