Haunted by guilt, Jian Hong tells Zhu Yu everything about the past. Li Na and Zhu Yu try to persuade him to have the surgery, but he won't agree until he sees Li Xun. Li Xun calls Jian Hong, telling him to live for him, and eventually shows up as Jian Hong is wheeled into surgery. The settlement with L&P goes well, with the name given back to Lin Xu and Zhu Yu. Zhu Yu's parents show up, forbidding them to be together, but they now have the support of their friends to continue as a couple.

This was one of the most amazing chemistry. I didn't want it to end. Glad it was a happy ending but I wanted to see more. I wish there will be season 2 so we could see our couple with children.

Lao Gao's redemption arc was esp. important to me. It was so jarring to see him as the antagonist when Li Xun confronted him after leaving prison. I will miss these characters who were so developed that I felt I truly got to know them.
