The lead relationships have similar dynamics full of playful banter and heart-fluttering moments. Both dramas have seemingly cold but caring male leads and spirited female leads. While Lighter and Princess centers on talented youth in computer science, Falling into your smile follows a top e-sports team as they strive for a national title. There are heavier topics in L&P, but FIYS has comparable main characters.
A love so beautiful was also one of my favorite C-Dramas way back 2017, and it is also quite comparable to Lighter and Princess (Arguably the best C-drama of 2022 because it trends like a hot fire). ALSB was lighter than L&P, because L&P have a lot of scene that can make you cry. It also had the same ML who's a genius and a jerk but still have some differences. Meanwhile, for the FL, they were completely different tho. Next similar thing was the Timeskip (where leads broke up for many years and find their way again) because from L&P they have college days and a timeskip to office/working days, which is both good!! Don't worry that is not a major spoiler because that is basically the ep. 1 of L&P. Actually, when i first saw L&P i quickly thought of ALSB haha both are good but if i were to choose, i'll go for L&P because it was a very well produced modern C-Drama and the romance build-up was amazing!! The OST's, Visual and Chemistry of the leads are also top notch so if you love ALSB then don't miss L&P!!!!
I thought of Start-Up while watching L&P. Both have good storylines and acting. MLs are both in IT. FL are both nice and sassy although the FL in LP chased the ML a lot more than Start Up. The OST is good in both and added to the show. There is a lot more humour in Start UP in the beginning. The chemistry is similar in that it is slow burn and really good. There is a also a start up in both shows and a time jump.
the SML in Start up is much much more interesting character than Start Up.
Lastly the ML in Start Up is way way nicer than the ML in LP.

They are both revenge-melodrama type but L&P revolves around univ days and after, while Innocent Man is more on corporate, chaebol kind of life of main characters esp. the FL. Both have similarities also when it comes to the characters’ social status, both MLs are from a poor family while the
FLs have a higher status in the society.
Angsty is what I love the most and both have it.

Both dramas are set during school/college days
The leads have a love-hate relationship at first that turns into romance
The leads are separated due to mishaps showing up but keep loving each other and meet up again in the future
The characters in both have heavy baggages from their past and have been through trauma
The leads become colleagues too

Both dramas have similar elements:
- Enemies to lovers trope with sizzling and natural chemistry
- ML with a "bad boy" image, a smart, cold and alluring guy, difficult, cunning and anti-social personality and self destructive tendencies
- FL is a "good girl", has a big heart
- Realistic depiction of relationships
- Family of FL doesn't approve of her relationship with ML
- Tragic past of ML which left him scarred/traumatized
- ML commits a crime
- FL is a ride or die type of girlfriend
- Contains cute intimate scenes between ML/FL but is also angsty
The difference is: The Smile Has Left Your Eyes is heavier in tone, has a heavier message (on the topic of abandoned children and trauma) and the ending are completely different. TSHLYE is much sadder. But it's one of my favorite Kdramas, especially for people who enjoy the above mentioned elements and more realistic type of dramas.

In Both dramas the leads are acquainted in the past( L&P leads are lovers in college but MLH the ML has an unrequited love since childhood)
My little happiness is sweet and fun, while lighter and princess is a little dark and thorough
The leads are reunited while they are older and become colleagues
