the vibes are kindda same even you would find similarities in the plot.
Idk abt others but while watching MCB I constantly found myself being reminded of Meeting You

Same ML Zhai Zi Lu with similar witty funny personality

Both dramas follow a group of childhood and school friends as they experience family and school issues and crushes on each other. Both leads have a bickering but very close relationship long before they fall in love.

-ML and FL are high school classmates & desk mates
-ML helps FL in studies during high school
-ML suddenly goes abroad after high school
-They both meet after several years
-Main focus is on their high school life(teachers, friends etc.)
-Two guys like the FL in high school and the FL is friends with the second male lead while the
ML is abroad
Comparing the both, I personally think that My Calorie Boy has a better ending and the leads in it have better chemistry!
