One Ordinary Day

어느 날 ‧ Drama ‧ 2021
- same vibes
- both are short kdramas that you can binge in a single sitting
- though the plot is different, there's still hints of murder and blood in both dramas
- extracurricular revolves more on not getting caught by the police, while one ordinary day revolves around finding out the truth.

The Manipulated and One Ordinary Day are similar in that both focus on ordinary characters who find themselves caught in intense, life-altering situations involving crime and moral dilemmas. In each, the protagonist faces manipulation—either by others or by the system—and must navigate complex psychological and emotional struggles. Both shows also explore themes of guilt, justice, and the impact of the legal system on individuals, with characters undergoing significant transformations under pressure.

Falsely accused MCs, prison (lots of prisons), defective judicial systems, police/prosecutors fabricating or neglecting evidence. And good actors. "Defendant" is a lot more melodramatic, I expect "One Ordinary Day" to try and keep it more together, for the sake of being more noir.

Again, falsely accused MCs, prison life (TW for rape in the movie, for OOD is still too soon to know what's in stall for the people implicated), deficient judicial system.

Differences (so far, the drama is only in the first quarter): FC is a lot more action-oriented and involves escape.

both have that same plot of " wrongfully accused" with a "not famous lawyer" being his only hope
OOD is about murder while TA was about North Korea-sympathizer but both share the same pain

One day, the MLs of these dramas happen to make a small mistake, and from that, everything in their respective lives changes. They keep making choices, some smart and some not so much, and depending on their respective luck, things continue happening and changing their whole lives around.

Setting - both happen in legal 'verse, one including detectives, the other the justice system, both include crimes, both try very hard to be noir.
