Meet the Wan's, Cheng Shaoshang's allies

May '23 We meet Lou Ben, Lou A'Yao's older brother. Lou Ben agrees to A'Yao breaking his engagement to Zhao Jun. CSS runs away to Qiqi's home and LBY who is after a map from General Wan meets up with CSS and decides to also stay at the Wan's home. The scene where CSS doesn't know how to ride a horse yet doesn't admit it to LBY, LBY tells her 'to don't put herself in danger' and gently adjusts her foot strap and puts her foot into foot holding and says 'a good horse will understand people, if you fear it, he will take advantage of you. This is how you train a horse. In this world, most other things are basically this way.' Wow if circumstances and the way of life could be that easy with this statement... what a wonderful world we would live in. With that said, LBY goes on to end their conversation with '... if I were really too close to you, it's because I've admired you for a long time, but you are not interested in me at all.' CSS realizes he over heard her statement in an earlier episode and apologizes, but I think LBY was confessing to her -- he really did admire her for a long time. CSS being naive does not catch it, she is truly a slow bloomer.

Jul '22 In an earlier episode CSS met Uncle Wan for the 1st time and Uncle Wan told her to come to him anytime if she needs help from her mother, Lady Cheng Yuanyi -- CSS runs away from home and goes to the Wan's -- Uncle Wan doesn't recognize CSS at 1st because of her self inflicted wounds (hahahahaha) & General Ling happens to be leaving Uncle Wan as CSS arrives. We met Qiqi Wan (daughter) in an earlier episode and Qiqi is a great older sister/friend that defends CSS. We meet Grandma Wan for the first time and she likes CSS spirit. Mother Wan feels that CSS should keep harmony & report disgruntles to the elders -- CSS is safe with the Wan's. I want to give a shout out to LBY's 2-main 1st-line-officers -- they are a hoot! Also these episodes are 45min+ it goes by quickly, it feels like 20min. Thoroughly enjoying LLTG!

The interaction between Shaoshang and Buyi📈📈📈

Those stares those stares Buyi, you will melt Shaoshang if staring can melt someone lol. Staying for 2 days lol and leaving the same day aaaaaaaaaa and the scene under the bridge when he hold his hand and when Shaoshang dressed as Qiqi interaction with Old Madam Wan is so cute and funny... The horse scene is one memorable part, "I will teach you" aaaaaaaaaaaaa I can't with him, and when he put her foot on the Stirrups (is this that equivalent of shoe lacing the female lead? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)

The interaction between Niaoniao and Buyi is so cute and funny, I love the characters of Qiqi and especially Old Madam Wan, like what old Madam Wan said Shaoshang takes from General Cheng and Qiqi takes from Songbai who are sworn brothers, both frank and doesn't care about trivial matters. The horse scene and Buyi still teasing and bringing up the "I admired you for a long time, yet, you have no interest in me" card to Niaoniao, they are soooo cute. All in all Shaoshang and Buyi for the win, our boy's stare at Shaoshang in this episode is so heartwarming hehehe and that little smile/smirk/compressed laugh is so cute and when his subordinate laughs he scolds him why he's laughing lol like saying you can't laugh at my future wife lol the mood suddenly changes lol, his stare would melt Niaoniao is stares could melt people for a long time, and also him (them) eavesdropping to Qiqi and Niaoniao Convo as they pass the pathway, him lowkey taking notes in his mind and listening carefully and new info about Niaoniao unlocked lol (at least that is what it looks to me). It's a fun episode (actually all of the episodes are fun can't wait for more >~< ! (This series is really for me, a series I've been looking for)
