The police try to convince Luo Jian that Zhuang Wen Jie is deeply involved in the case and isn't an innocent bystander. Luo Jian volunteers to keep an eye on Zhuang Wen Jie. Zhuang Wen Jie contacts the scammers. Luo Jian shows up in Zhuang Wen Jie's house and gets reprimanded by the other police captain. Zhuang Wen Jie meets up with a scammer at the cafe. Luo Jian still believes Zhuang Wen Jie is innocent. The scammers threaten Zhuang Wen Jie's friends so he will turn over the iris and palm print. Luo Jian goes to the cafe to get Zhuang Wen Jie's message. Zhuang Wen Jie is kidnapped under the police's nose. Luo Jian reveals that Zhuang Wen Jie might have the iris and palm print.
