A Man Who Defies the World of BL Episode 1 Reactions
really enjoyed this, Mob is hilarious & quirky, but his family (other then his younger brother) r also a bit weird, so no one looks at him weird for his antics. i usually don't like the overacting - it comes off fake - like a wanna be anime, that's more a miss then a hit. but here it's endearing & funny. ************************************************************************************************really like Mob & enjoyed seeing him trying to avoid all the obstacles that might turn him gay - as if that an option. but this cute

Very interesting, that's for sure. It makes a lot of references to BL cliches, and it was overall good.

A Man Who Defies the World of BL airs on Viki as a four episode series. This comedic fantasy tells the story of "Mob," an average college student who realizes that he lives inside of a Boy Love world. Trying to avoid becoming the protagonist of his own BL storyline, Mob researches all the tropes of Boy Love manga so he can avoid them in real life. He watches his classmates, friends, and even his younger brother fall into a boys' love plot. The more he fights the reality of his world, the more inevitable it becomes that he cannot avoid it. Mob is hilariously played by Atsushiro Inukaj. His hysterical inner monologue and over-the-top facial expressions truly sell the ridiculous notion that Mob can avoid the pitfalls of living in a BL world. The show is funny even if you're not familiar with shoujo/BL romance anime or manga tropes. If you are familiar with them, the show is even funnier as the viewer knows Mob will not escape this storyline without falling in love. According to Viki, this series/movie was adapted from the manga of the same name.

This was a lot of chaos and satire and it was wonderful. Don't expect anything serious to come out of this because it's pure fun. The OST made me want to disco

Great 1st episode with a great 1st intro. I honestly was wandering how they will start with this BL, well, antibl. The introduction is very clear with many funny scenes that we are all familiar with. It’s so hilarious that it feels like this show is making fun of how expected things can be in a manga or any bl novel.
