It introduced the main cast well although the FL is written too Mary Sue and lacks agency and things happen to her. She exemplifies the "pick me girl" trope but that may change if she is given character development later on. Despite these shortcomings in writing the protagonist, the pilot episode still deserves a high rating for it shows potential to develop interesting dynamics in FL's life such as the relationship with a father who is willing to bend over backwards for his potential son-in-law, a narcissistic BF, great best friend and work place drama with her colleagues. The ML has weak presence so far as he is too Gary Sue with his perfect appearance and genius level skill in all that he does.
