some differences are hello 1983 is a different person while legally romance is her own teenage self and she knows the ml before while in 1983 ml is a person she just met.. but overall if you like fl going back in time and trying her best to flourish youll like both, the two dramas are a cozy watch

Can be a bit long winded but it's pretty good overall.

Both the dramas are based on time travel. The FLs travel to the past and try to amend and dive into a better future. While LR also focus more significantly on the present showing their story in the present, SYA talks a lot about the past. Also in LR, the FL is not directly already in love with ML, while in SYA she is. There's love triangle as well, but SML isn't strong for either.
There is a very strong message relayed in both the dramas. If you enjoyed one, you'll definately like the other.
I personally liked both. SYA made my heart ache like anything, and legally romance made me ponder a lot.

Both dramas are set around a main character who's life falls apart in the present day only for her to travel back in time and fix some of her regrets. She rediscovers the love she had for the career she never chose and finds a new appreciation for someone who was always around so when she returns to the present she's able to use that newfound confidence to fix her problems.

Both main leads were in legal system, career, and work related relationship. Legally romance has time travel genre. Both involved life span, grew up together etc

Jilted FL, warm patient ML . It takes her a while to figure out that he loves her . This was a drama I really enjoyed . It does have a ‘time travel’ element to it unlike Shine on me. But there are still parallels

similar depth in story of past ,good story, romance starts from college, male lead has always loved female lead from college but was not able to confess they realise they love each other in adulthood and start dating and are happy. this is also a novel romance
