Till the End of the Moon Episode 34 Reactions
Feeling pretty mixed about this show at this point. On one hand, the overall arc is fine and the actors are all wonderful and doing a good job. But the plot implementation has really leaned into recycled plot tropes of late and has started to feel like a lot of cheap manipulation. Things like, characters misjudging each other and over-reacting based on lack of or wrong information, key people just 'happen' to be late / missing / in a coma when their presence would resolve drama. Stuff like that. It's all gotten a little tired at this point. I'm also really tired of the fact that (a) people keep spitting up cherry juice / blood every time they stub a toe and (b) no one takes one second to wipe their chin. I feel sometimes like I'm watching a cheap vampire flick.

I love that CJM communicated his worries with Li Susu. Li Susu shld trust him more and confided in him. Hmm... Idk what to do with this new YBC, I think she had soft spot for Jiwu. I still think she had bad intentions. She can only redeem herself in my eyes if she treated Jiwu nicely and kindly. I hv to say I really like YBC's headdress and her hairstyle. Hmm that festival was in the day this time. You know as much as I like calm, gentle CJM. I also love how ruthless and condescending TTJ was. Like he was paranoid then too but he made sure to be aware of everything and be threatening. Love love how he soft-spoke the things that irritated him. Hmm that bratty kid cen mi will get himself killed. Where was Li Susu??? THE SCRIPTWRITERS DELIBERATELY MADE HER VANISHED DURING THIS TIME WTF. NOO THAT FCKING IMMORTAL TOLD THE WRONG THING. Well howdy Li Susu, I expected you to be earlier than this. NOOO MY BABY CANG JIUMIN YOU DESERVE THE BEST ALL THE LOVE IN THIS WORLD. Will Li Susu show her past memories to her dads to clear CJM orf their doubts??? How did I forget that thing was sealed in her body?. I hv so many questions, didn't these mighty immortals hv their own version of autopsies?? If they just look at cen mi stabbed wound myb there wld be a trace of demon energy weapon or something. My precious cjm you didn't deserve this suffering! Hmm siying did hv a point there. Like even she knew they should hv investigate it more. Also those minions of Cen Mi how dare you guys fabricated the truth!!! Dammit what a fked up stupid cctv! It was there my goodness so close to see the truth. Well... I know Di Mian wld mention the evil bone. Little did he know. Where did this prophecy came from? Like wtf?? Poor my baby. He was not at fault!!

Seeing Jing Mei's secret crush on Si Ying placed these two in a new special ship for me. Did not have the same feeling of dislike for these "villains". The actress portraying Si Ying has been somewhat typecasted as the villainous female. Unlike in Ashes of Love, she brought out a different feeling here and I liked her character more than the 2nd female lead in this drama.
