Business Proposal

사내 맞선 ‧ Drama ‧ 2022
Bullied at school because of her plain and dull appearance, Reina stops attending classes. However, a fateful encounter with makeup dramatically changes her life—after starting from zero, learning techniques, and putting in hard work, she undergoes a complete transformation into a goddess who turns heads wherever she goes! She planns to start a perfect new life at her new school! …Or so she thought. By sheer coincidence, her "top secret" is discovered by Kanda Shun—a cool, mysterious classmate with the top grades in their year. In exchange for keeping her secret, he forces her into an unexpected master-servant relationship!? As Reina grows closer to Shun, another classmate, Haruka Igarashi—who shares a certain "past" with Shun—also starts to take an interest in her.

Both couples pretend to be in a fake relationship and they end up falling in love.
They both have great comedy.
Chemistry between leads.

Both dramas have a similar style of comedy despite being in two different settings. The Forbidden Marriage is set in Joseon while A Business Proposal takes place in modern day.

Both the female leads start by deceiving the male lead into thinking that they are someone else, but end up falling in love with them.

Overall both dramas have a very sweet (and slightly spicy) romance

Both female lead goes on a blind date for their best friend and meets the male lead.
Both dramas are business related and have parents that follows a strict social marriage system.

"Now, we are breaking up" has more heart breaking stories and aspects of a relationship compared to 'business proposal". "business proposal" has a bit om comedic aspect which makes the story more lively and young.

Aside from the romance between the main leads, the supporting characters in each drama also has cute relationships.

This drama also has contract relationship with cold male lead and warm female lead plot. They start off as just contract couples but end up falling in love.

I was watching my gf is an alien after business proposal and realized some of the similarities like:
-Both male leads suffer from the rain and have a trauma linked to it
-Contract relationship between male and female leads
-Another male character likes the female (kind of a love triangle)
-Both males are rich CEO's and strong female leads works under them
-One male has a father while another has no parents
-The female lead helps solve the trauma (kind of)
-Happy endings
I think Business Proposal is more of a short, get-to-the-point than my gf is an alien.
Have a go, you might enjoy :)

They are both about a grandfather trying to force his grandson into an arranged marriage,
In BP the Ml and FL enter into a contract relationship to fool the grandfather so he will stop making the male lead go on dates.
In 1% it is the grandfather that specifies that the male lead and female lead get together because the female lead was nice to the grandfather .

Another office setting.
The ML is a CEO, the FL is an employee.
Both ML's have similar and distant, cold personalities while the FL are both quirky in their own way.

In both Dramas you will laugh, the couples are very good together. One of them is colder and the other has a more extroverted temperament.

Secret Garden was a phenomenal hit romcom drama with fantasy elements in it. A Business Proposal is a cliche romcom.
Both have rich & cold CEOs as male leads, hardworking & strong girls as female leads. Both dramas have main couple and second couple.
Amazing chemistry between leads,
Good acting,
Outstanding visuals

Created by the same people. They have the same kind of comedy with both couples working together. Different genres but the same kind of sunshine heroine vs grumpy hero in terms of the romance. There’s a hilarious older man character in both dramas too.

The similarities between these dramas:
- Both female lead fake their identities
- Cliché and old school romance comedy dramas with modern execution and very well produced
- Absurd and funny characters, especially female lead
- Cold and charismatic male lead
- Poor female lead x rich male lead

Gu Seo Jin is a third-generation chaebol who runs the theme park Wonder Land. He seemingly has everything — looks, brains, and fortune. But a traumatic incident in his childhood resulted in Seo Jin having a split personality — one is a cold, ruthless man, while the other is the polar opposite, someone kind and gentle. Because of this, he vows never to date or marry. Seo Jin wants to get rid of the circus show at Wonder Land due to low ticket sales and high overhead costs, but he butts heads with circus master Jang Ha Na. Ha Na insists on saving the failing circus and dreams of revamping it back to its former glory. She soon finds herself falling for both of Seo Jin's personalities.
