until when is cutie enough??????
5.5 You really thought. This show really tried to but failed miserably. I hope to see them in a different show, written better. So, anyways. I am really tired of bls romanticizing all these toxic behaviors, and the guys just putting up with it. The writing is nice at times but most of it is just, fan service, toxic guys, and crying babies. Aren´t we tired of this yet? I don't like how a lot of the characters are written, in fact, the only characters that I kinda like Kuea, Syn, and Nuea. Everybody else is wrong. Diao is such a character, lol. I don't understand why we are still making these types of characters that can't even breathe, and yall keep calling this love. Oh, no babes that HARASSMENT. Anyway, Diao is a cry baby, there's one scene where he starts crying in front of Yi, and I was just like "Sir, he hasn't said a single word what's going on here?" like yall call that love???, he is crying because he is scared of this man god damn it. Yi, well, his character did his part you know, the toxic guy who wants to dominate and acts all macho. It is not that bad until you see Diao, that's when you know this writing is wrong. Hia, the same thing, he is just a toxic man, and there is nothing wrong with having these types of characters as long as you don't romanticize them, and guess what this series does? yeah, that. Even the parents are toxic and are allowed to be.Read my whole review visiting my blog in the link:

Had the potential
I didn't hate this series. The storyline was interesting enough and had so much potential. This potential however was wasted with zero development in the characters. You can't deny ZeeNuNew's chemistry but love scenes are not enough to keep the viewers engaged. If you are looking for a hot series then this BL is perfect for you but in my case, I also like a well-established plot which was non-existent in this series. The beginning had me intrigued but in the end, I was left with a lot of unanswered questions.Overall the acting was not bad but for the main role, I feel like NuNew could have delivered more especially for his crying scenes. I'm in love with his voice though and I'm excited to see how his future acting roles and his promising career as a singer will unfold. Zee is an experienced actor so he portrayed his role as Lian quite well. Then we have Nat who I adore so much but unfortunately, his acting wasn't impressive either. He too has the potential as well as his partner Max whose portrayal of Hia Yi could also have been better.
My favourite couple has to be Nuer and Syn! I was more interested in their love story and I'm looking forward to their own series.
Even though this series has some intense and hot love scenes from Kuea and Lian, every other aspect of their relationship was a mess. Firstly there was no communication whatsoever and they both didn't seem to know or understand each other. Healthy communication is an important foundation for any relationship.
With Khondiao and Hia Yi what exactly was their narrative?
The ending was especially illogical. So not only do they barely know anything about each other but instead of actually spending time talking and resolving their issues they prioritise sex. A lot of aspects of this BL are a little immature and distasteful, it could have been written better.

50mins per episode was not needed
Imagine the episodes being THAT long with ZERO character development. It’s the year 2025 this series came out in 2022 I’ve been seeing the cast of this series all over my timelines with snippets of the show. I actually started the first episode in 2023 and I couldn’t get through 10mins. So we’re back again February 2025 I’m seeing them on my timeline again, and I’m like you really don’t need to watch it you already know it’s gonna suck. But did I listen this time? Nope.I could not believe that that lame ass story line stretched for TWELVE EPISODES and 45-50mins long! I watched EVERY episode on x2 speed because no way I was gonna watch it on normal speed.
Where was the character development? What kind of toxic controlling men are these? Was it because the Hias were older with younger bfs they needed to make them seem “more mature?” Good lord! Well that’s not how it came across. And also, did we forget that ADULTS communicate?? Like ADULTS have a brain that allows us to verbalize words to put together sentences that makes sense.
I felt confused most of the show, nothing was explained. Why was Lian cold and then as soon as Kuea called it quits he changed, it was so weird. Also side couples!Syn and Nuer, Nuer came in liking Kuea it was evident, then they do a slow mo scene with him and Syn then his interests change, and Syn, because he clearly liked him from jump didn’t even question how he did that. However I will say that other than that, their relationship was the healthiest. Then Yi and Dao, when they did the flashback of WHY Yi acted the way he did my jaw dropped in utter “you’ve got to be fricking kidding me” like THAT was the reason?! Attacked by a dog (clearly not viciously because he has no scars) lost a little memory and that’s the reason???? I was annoyed. Their story dragged on for days and made no sense at all. When all Yi needed to do was COMMUNICATE.
Anyways, if you actually care about a storyline making sense, then don’t waste your time watching this. If you care about LOTS OF KISSING as a replacement for explanations and communication then go ahead and watch.

Story/plot is lacking, but...
I am glad I read the reviews before watching. I really didn't expect much going into it, and wasn't disappointed.Bad - The story or plot leaves much to be desired, yes there were questions left unanswered, and the "trauma" between Hia Yi and Khondiao was not what I would call enough to be an issue. Things were left for far too long, and it really could have been scripted much better.
Chemistry - The chemistry between Kuea and Hia Lian was very good, believable, but the story line kind of messed with it, imo. When they were on though, it was HOT! Same with Hia Yi and Diao. Great chemistry once they went for it, but story line was just off. Syn & Nuer were the best! Both were so cute and funny and sweet.
Good - The side stories and friendships were extremely funny and really good. Kuea's friends at school were hysterical, they made the show so much more watchable. I loved how they just went along with Syn's prayers and helped Kuea keep up appearances with Hia Lian by dressing like computer nerds! Also, the "Jelly Gang" was very cute. Kuea and Diao supported each other so well.
My most favorite character was the scene-stealing Foei. He was THE BEST! Every scene he was in was perfect, I really wish he had more screen time.
Music - I must say the music, for me, was amazing. NuNew has a beautiful voice, as does Nat. Their songs were so good I keep looking NN up on youtube for more.
Overall, not as bad as I thought it would be after reading the reviews, but could have been so much better.

Forget plot. Watch it for hot men kissing.
I went in expecting to love this, but it really just a 'meh' for me.Likes:
1. Good looking. Zee was so fine
2. Steamy scenes. The kisses were real...with tongue...and there were many
3. Music. NuNew has a nice voice
4. 3rd couple was so cute
5. The supportive relationship between MC and is bff
6. High production value
Dislikes:
1. Nonsensical plot-What was up with the gay grandpa setting up his grandson with another boy before knowing either of their sexual orientation? How unrealistic was it that not a single person in either families batted an eye and questioned "Is it a good idea? They're still children!"
2. Controlling older lovers who treat their younger lovers like children. Must know their daily schedules and giving them curfews. If the older called, the younger must drop everything to go to the older.
3. So many unnecessary secrets and lies: Why the hell did the MC have to lie about all his ordinary hobbies and university degree? Why pretend to be a bland doll when the ML aka his fiance has known him since birth?
And the ML with his own lies ,once again treating MC like a child who couldn't handle the truth. And the list goes on...to many to write
4. Relationship developments: They did not show how the characters fall in love or what they love about eachother. "I love you since you were born" isn't cutting it. It's nonsense. Throughout the series, you just see the older lovers thirsting for the younger. There was no deep and meaningful love shown. The younger sort of just went along it. They were quite passive in the relationship.
5. Non-con and dub-con: A full fledge respectable adult would not kiss a blind-drunk person. The kiss in the car was not consensual. To make it worse the ML didn't tell the MC that it was him resulting in the MC guiltily thought that he kissed some random stranger. Subsequent kissing and other intimate scenes felt pushy.
6. The pacing: so slow. So many unnecessary scenes that added nothing to the story. So many drawn out scenes. The singing was nice, but we didn't need to see the whole song sung in the series. We can listen to the OST after if we want to. My thumb hit the skip button so often.
7. For a show that preaches marriage equality, it did not show anything compelling to support the ideal. The main couple mentioned a couple of times and thats it. It didn't even show the couple married at the end!
You know what would've been compelling? If they show a heartbreaking backstory of the gay grandpas. Of how the 2 couldn't be together when they were young. That they were force separate and marry women. And they only managed to be together after all their obligations were fulfilled, ie raising their children to be independent adults that can take over the family business. And even then, they still couldn't get married and that is sad. But that does not mean that that gave them the rights to arrange a gay marriage when they didn't know whether their grandsons were going to be gay or not

An immature wattpad story!!
I am a fan of BL and I support the LGBTQ community. Now the review...The 1st thing missing when you start the drama is logic and common sense. Set those aside, but can you SERIOUSLY!! put your brain out!!!
That's too much of imagination, your reasoning brain opposes it every single time...
The story goes like; 1st couple, Lian Kilen Wang and Kuea “Kirin” Keerati
Writers: Both of the main leads are engaged by their grandpa.
Me: Okay!
Writers: The ML is the Rich hire...
Me: Okay!
Writers: His grandpa is also gay...
Me: Cool!
My brain/Logic: BUT how does he know his 7-year-old grandchild is gay? and the guy he is going to engage is also gay? 🤔
Even tho Grandpa has a son... so probably he married a woman and has his son then his grandchild (Kuea) who is the only hire of their family & business... So, Even though his grandpa is gay and cool with the "gay marriage" how does/will he engage his 7-year-old grandkid to a guy?
Writers: But the Main Lead LOVE his fiancé (as a kid)
Me: wouldn't it make them friends? or more like a big brother?
Logic: The main lead goes for higher studies abroad BUT they literally spend their childhood together... so, how come they don't know each other...
It sooo forced and makes no sense... even the actors have no chemistry! There is a lot of kissing but aside from that they don't have an actual story...
About 2nd couple... "Khondiao" Thacha and Yi Phayak Chatdecha
The Male lead (Diao) is scared of the person(Yi) and also loves him?🤔
My brain/Logic: Excuse me?
Writers: There is a dialogue in the drama "Love come with Pain"
Me: Yes, It gave me a headache!
Writers: So, they are not in a relationship but they live together...
Me: okay! Here we go again, No chemistry!
So, the question is it worth watching?
And the answer is NOOOO!! Absolutely No!
I can't give the 0 for rewatching but it is not worth watching just once.

Definitely not a 10
This series is definitely not the worst series I've ever had the misfortune of watching (cough, tharntype s1, cough), but although it was pretty good in the beginning, it quickly got a bit .. boring. I enjoyed the plot at the start, I liked how they presented it and how Kuea's feelings were presented. I felt like I understood him in a way. I liked Lian as well, but he was honestly an asshole most of the time. I understood the plot, but honestly, I couldn't even get through the last episode. I skimmed most of the last episodes to be completely honest. I mostly kept watching for Yi and Diao as well as Syn and Nuer rather than Kuea and Lian. It was the same thing each episode for Kuea and Lian, just constant lying even until the final episode. They brushed over their problems a lot, and nothing truly got resolved. Not much communication. It was unsatisfying, really. It just kept getting worse as the episodes furthered towards the end. They had their cute moments like the side couples, but overall their romance was a bit lackluster to me. I have to give them a huge plus for the music though, I absolutely adored the music in the series. NuNew seriously has a gorgeous voice, he did amazing with his singing for the series. I never skipped his singing moments and I still go back to watch him sing Change. I also really adored the cast, MaxNat have amazing chemistry (they're my favorite honestly) as well as ZeeNew and TutorYim. Their chemistry outside of the series is adorable and MaxNat's vlogs together are so sweet.Overall, I wouldn't recommend this series but I'd definitely recommend listening to NuNew's music and watching other series that these actors are in instead.

i have no idea what that was all about
I'm a big fan of the arranged marriage trope but this is just not it. It took me by surprise, but I wasn't mad (at the beginning). The thing is you can't expect people to keep watching the same scenes for 12 whole episodes.
I became a big fan of the cast after this, not gonna lie. I already knew Zee and I think he, like always, delivered everything with this character. Nunew was a great surprise, along with the actors that play Nuer and Syn. The other couple tho I couldn't stand to watch their scenes together... Their story was so messy (like everything else honestly) and I just felt no chemistry between them :/
About the plot (can we even call it that way?) I don't think there's much left to say really, since everyone else already said it, but one thing that actually bothered me was the fact that they were trying so hard to go like Slayy Go gays!! i mean that final scene with the outdoor????? was that really necessary lmao I think there were better ways of conveying the message.
Finally, like someone already said it, this whole miscommunication plot only works in the end if both parts talk it out and have a change of behavior... I feel like they kept talking all the time but couldn't solve sh*t. like yeah hia lian accepted kuea the way he was but he already knew about everything from the beginning so how does that change anything? and the whole thing with his family going bankrupt ???? that was really just put there to fill some holes and give kuea and lian more reason to argue.
anyway not gonna extend this any longer i'll probably watch season 2 bc of the actors now that i know i can't expect much plot-wise!

ONE OF THE MOST UNFAIRLY HATED BUT ACTUALLY AWESOME DRAMAS!!
U can clearly see the reviews r freaking contradictory. While some have rated 10/10, some have 1/10... On every other platforms this series is so loved and appreciated but only on mdl it is.........(for some ppl). This is one of the dramas proved that u shouldn't keep the whole trust on mdl reviews. How good is this series?
∘Couple chemistry n their visuals are outstanding. Yes, outstanding.
∘The eye-catching cinematography, aesthetics are top notch. Quality bls are rare yk.
∘All of the OSTs are simply amazing. They r meaningful and had been used appropriately. All of them are sung by main actors.
∘The best NC scenes I've ever seen in bls. So realistic, sensual and consent was there. It looked like making love, not just having sex!
∘The way they actually support lgbtq community is noteworthy. Thumbs up for cutie pie.
∘One of the most beautiful endings of series.
Plot:
There's a lack of plot development cos a big (heavy) storyline wasn't there. But it's totally worth watching. Lack of confidence and insecurities between the couples has become the major problem in their relationship cos they wanted to be a perfect partner for each other rather than being real. The show didn't justify their wrongdoing. It portrays how they suffer with those issues n how they overcome it. If both characters were 100% perfect and rosy, that should be the fake, unrealistic one. We see Kuea and Lian are learning about each other, showing importance of respecting the differences and accepting themselves. That is what true love does. It gives us courage and breaks our own insecurities making ourselves feel valued.
There's no need to hate anything just bc others do so. Pls... u may miss ur fav comfort show. A series is a combination of plot, actors, couple chemistry, cinematography, atmosphere, music... So clearly this is 100% worth watching series. YOU MUST TRY IT URSELF AND DECIDE...fingers crossed.

It Wasn't Entirebly Terrible..?
I've already written this entire thing, but my laptop decided it had other ideas, so now I don't feel like repeating what I've said (and I also don't remember all of it), so I'll just reiterate some of the things I wrote. For one, I definitely remember saying that I wished I would've watched this series while it aired since it just felt so hard to keep up with in the beginning. This series had beautiful actors, half-a-million-dollar sets, and some perfectly sculpted heat scenes, but it still wasn't enough for me to leave feeling satisfied.Let's Dive In,
Cutie Pie is a nontraditional Thai style setup (at least that's how it felt to me) about Kuea, an undercover rebel who acts as an angel around his arranged finance since childhood, Hia Lian. Hia Lian is a workaholic whose primary focus in life is his business and keeping the promise he made to Kuea's Grandfather. Through some misunderstands, poor communication, and a couple of heated kisses, it's happily ever after, with two other couples following the same problems. My initial feelings on why I think it would've been better to watch while it aired is so that I could have time to really understand what was going on. Instead, I just went on to the next episode, hella confused and just going with the flow.
In some cases, it felt like things were happening too late, like how I went through half of the series thinking that Hia Yi and Diao were also in an arranged marriage. Instead, Hi Yi just wanted to take care of him after some childhood accident made him forget his memory (even though Hia Yi bosses Diao around. shouldn't it be vice-versa?). Same with Nuea who has an apparent crush or maybe is weirdly overprotective of Kuea at the beginning, but then it's never explained why. He's then in la-la land with Syn and you just, again, have to go with the flow.
Now let's talk about Hia Lian and Kuea who I still don't know if I loved or hated. For one, I think the actors did a phenomenal job or at least did as well as they could with the material they were given. I also liked that Kuea needed to learn how to be his whole self around Hia Lian, and that Hia Lian needed to learn how to show his emotions and love and embrace his feelings for Kuea. But what I didn't like was the constant back and forth, Lian would have to reassure Kuea every other episode that he did love him, but by the time we get to the end and Lian proposes and Kuea shuts him down, it's frustrating, especially since his reason is the same shit that Lian had reassured him about on multiple occasions. And it's yell-worthy just for them to go back to the house and everything be okay. By this point, 2x speed was used. That also goes for the misunderstanding (or bad communication) with Lian's plan to help Kuea's family, something that was added at the last minute, and left me annoyed. And sure, their heated scenes were done very nicely, and the consent was perfectly sculpted, but it's still not enough for me. They tried to explain the whole marriage thing since it's pointless to be engaged in a country that doesn't support same-sex marriage, but it's so filler that I just roll my eyes. I think this show started to rely on the heated scenes and just gave up on telling a comprehensible story. I'm still indecisive about these two, but I think I've come to the conclusion that I'm satisfied enough, but if the showrunners had focused more on their story then they really could've been the 'IT' couple. Instead, they told Zee and New to do some kissy kissy time to get away with their poor writing.
I'm also indecisive about Hia Yi and Diao who I loved, but their story is rather a dumb one. The lost childhood memory is fine, but what specifically did he forget? and did I miss it? How come Hia Yi is bossy and mean and then all of the sudden he's just super nice? I won't even get into the whole fiasco of the weird dog-eating storyline. Anyways, the same goes for them, they had great heated scenes, but something crucial is missing. I can't pinpoint it with my finger, but it's something big, and it aggravates me to the fullest. It was probably the lack of character development out of Diao who is seemingly the same person he was at the beginning to the end, or how he's just written to be pretty much perfect with none of his own problems other than getting caught in lies and not keeping things to himself. Hia Yi has a crack of character development, maybe being a bit more lenient and not so harsh to Diao, but it's nothing much, or rather to-your-face-noticeable. My critique stays the same for these two, a better story, a better build-up to their relationship, and they could've also done well with some more screentime.
Syn and Nuea are cute, but nothing more. They had great build-up, but I didn't really feel the chemistry between the actors. Again, nothing wrong in the kissing department, but it comes out of the blue that it feels more comical than realistic. Also, Nuea is not my favorite character, just because the writers didn't give him much of a story, if one at all, and we know next to nothing about him. They barely have any screentime after the public display of affection in which they start to fall off the wagon for me. I think this could've been a fun couple, but with little screentime and poor development, it just feels like they were thrown in at the last minute, and instead of telling their story, the writers could've focused more on the other two that could've used more work.
I'll leave this off on a good note and talk about some things I did really enjoy: I loved Foei, and he might've been my favorite character. I'm kind of upset the writers didn't utilize him more, and I would've rather seen his story than the third couple. Jay was also a good supporting role, but more so just because I love Perth and there's no way I couldn't love any character Perth plays.
The friendship between Diao and Kuea is nicely done, with them being there for one another no matter what, and it's good to show a healthy male-male friendship like this that is still intimate and meaningful without crossing into romantic.
I want to see this company's receipts because the houses they used are MASSIVE. And yes, BLs tend to use huge houses, but Yi's house? with the multiple expensive cars in the back? They did not disappoint in this department, and I am pleasantly surprised.
Ratings:
Story: 7.5 - There's a story, but it feels rather vague, and with the hype around this show only being because of the love scenes, it's hard to focus on this aspect when nobody else is. However, I won't knock it all down, there were a few things that I liked and it was enough to keep me watching so, I guess it wasn't all that bad.
Acting: 8.5 - I think most of the actors were good, but Nat was probably not the strongest performer, and you're only as strong as your weakest link. I've never been a huge fan of Nat's acting, but he did rather well in Y-Destiny, but here, I just feel that disconnect again. He's kind of awkward (in a good way) and it shows in his acting.
Music: 6.5 - Fine I guess, didn't really pay all that much attention.
Rewatch Value: 1.5: eh, very less likely.
I don't think this series is bad, but I do grade more harshly on things that are widely popular or hyped because I feel the need to see what others see, and 6 times out of 10, I don't. But if you are looking for some decent NC scenes, then you've got it here. If that's not really you're mojo, then this can be a series you watch later or as slow as you want. No need to rush.

Brainless Drama, had great potential but they just spoiled it
The base story is great but it wasn't supported at all by the illogical slow-paced script and childish direction. The start of the series was too dramatic and whatever character buildup was done in the 1st episode it wasn't supported at all by the remaining episodes.
The character's personality changed in every single episode.
Both the acting and the makeup (the presentation) of Kuea's character is too childish. His acting is good except for every scene in which he cries.
Direction is bad and you can easily tell that. For Eg. in the scene where Kuea is crying at his grandpa's death and Dian comes, Kuea keeps sitting on the chair after Dian offered him a handkerchief to wipe the tears, it would have been presented better if, at the time, he would have hugged Dian.
The series went from good, to bad to worse to good and to average. Nothing was consistent in the series.
To be frank, I liked the acting of most actors in the series, but what went wrong was the acting didn't properly match with the base story and their character and I blame the direction for it.
What I didn't like
* Script is too childish and illogical. For eg. why would the competitors be VIPs at Jay's pub.
* Slow paced. The duration between dialogues in serious scenes is just too much.
* Most of the series felt like it revolves around 2 men playing with their significant others.
* We are besties was spoken more than the times Kuea cried, which is a lot. Are they children???
* Multiple scenes/sub-stories are introduced in the script just to support 1 scene, even when the whole script doesn't matches
with the scene at all
* There is no character build-up, the character's personality changes every episode.
* Backstory provided for the secondary couple is incomplete and less focused.
Another illogical scene:
Ep 5, how couldn't Kuea hear the same music running in the background of Dian that was running in the back of Jay's
