Bright and Fun
I'm not sure why everyone seems so harsh with their criticism..I Love Love Love this series. It has heart and celebrates dreams, dreamers, and the struggle to accomplish one's passion. Kim Sejeong is the soul of this series and she does a marvelous job of motivating others as she finds her own way in life. The cast is fabulous, the little stories are interesting and the overaching story holds it all together. I particularly liked one of the side stories that discussed trauma and how the writers dealt with it sensitively. Bravo!Was this review helpful to you?
Very moving and has great characters
I originally started this just because I wanted to see actor Nam Yoon Su in a main role in the hopes that he will end up with whoever his love interest was. I quickly became invested in the story itself and loved the characters for their own personality, flaws and growth. It was very satisfying to see the character development and I liked how much they delve into the lives of the side characters so that their experiences are really fleshed out. It was fun to see the challenges that artists face along with those that support them. It was extremely satisfying to watch, I did not expect to love it as much as I did. It really makes you think about pursuing dreams and balancing that with reality. I liked that some characters did not have their original dream realized and moved on to a new dream. I think it’s important to recognize that sometimes things just don’t work out and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.Was this review helpful to you?
A REAL COMEDY! SE JEONG IS THE QUEEN OF COMEDY KDRAMA
I can say this is kinda a hidden gem, i havent see many people talk about it but its a good kdrama. Its a comedy, but it has some really heartwarming moments, it made me cry both from the laughter and the saddness at times. I am not a huge fan of comedies, but this one is very good.The story isnt something special, but the thing that keeps you is the characters, and when i say characters i dont mean only the main ones, but every single one we got to watch in the entire drama. Ma Eum is a great main character, she was the sunshine of the drama and even tho i usually find kinda annoying characters with traits like hers, i couldnt just not like her, the way she was so positive and always helped, she is amazing, and of cousre once again Se Jeong proved she is the Queen of comedy when it comes to Kdramas, the way she acts is just breathtaking. At some point i was confused, i didnt know who was the male lead, i still dont know who was it... But i like that, i am so bored with the cliches, this is something different. Both male leads were very well written and they had good development as the drama progressed. I have a favorite but i am not going to spoil, i will just say that i loved "love your coworker, love your country". All the PDs were great too, best for me was DP Kwon, his character was extremely interesting and his story was very unexpected but special too. The webtoon artists were very good too, each of them special and i loved their bond with their PDs.Shin Dae Ryuk story was so sad, but i loved the ending for him (and what a glow up...).
In conclusion, this drama is a fun watch and i really believe that you will like it, especially if you like comedies, but even if you dont (like me).

an aspiring and interesting story board
Todays webtoon is an amazing work. Todays webtoon shows the struggles and hardship faced by the webtoon team and it mainly focuses on the struggles of the main lead On Ma Eum and the webtoon team of Neon company. Its really crazy and having unexpected twists around the story. Also I hope there is another season for giving a correct answer to Jun Yeong from Ma Eum. Also if there is a second season for this series it could also be a bright and entertaining series. Todays webtoon also prioritizes of the various young artists who want to show and express their stories through webtoon. This series is also not only revolves around the main leads but also the incidents of the characters also, it is definitely recommended to watch .Was this review helpful to you?
about hope and giving all your heart
Truly an underrated gem, I was very worried when I saw so many skeptical comments on here but two of my favorite k-actors acts in this so I /had/ to give it a try and oh boy I'm so glad I did!If you loved Run On and Gaus Electronics like me, this is the perfect slice of life/comedy drama. At first we're introduced to the main cast and you may think that it will only follow the story of On Maeun but what the writers actually decided to make is a beautiful ensemble cast. Really, every single character even if it's just a support cast has his moment and his story. Some of them will make you think, some of them will make you cry. The relationship between the PDs and their artists are so sweet.
One of the surprises of this cast was certainly Shin Dae Ryuk/Kim Dohoon, a beautiful and complicated character, the acting was honestly sooo good. I already saw him in Law Cafè and although I loved his character on it too, wow! kudos, really.
Kim Sejeong confirms herself as one of my favorite actress, she's such a cutie in this one but /never/ cringy. And when there are serious moments you can see her talent, loved her little monologues. Nam Yoonsun is sooo incredible too, loved his story and really didn't see /that/ coming, I think his chatacter is one of my favorite in kdrama history, just a silly dude who tries his best, skeptical at first (I think his chatacter is the one that most of the audience can relate to) but then he can't help to be dragged by the hurricane that On Maeun is. Also DIMPLES.
Honestly I could gush about every single cast but anyways. A beautiful drama, is it maybe too optimistic? Yeah, maybe, but honestly I loved that. I think we need more stories in which people without a single hope left, people who fought for their dreams just to see them crushed, people who don't know what their future holds for them, see that sometimes, just sometimes! working hard and putting your heart (your entire heart, ha!) pays off. Protecting hope etc. etc. A love story to webtoons and to the people who work hard in the shadows.

Wholesome Kdrama
I like this kdrama because of the plot/story. I like how they try their best to solve each problem they encounter. Each episode I learned a lot of stuff that can help me irl. I like how Joon Young opened up and tried his very best to understand why Ma Eum likes the job of being a webtoon PD. It shows how one can really understand things if they put efforts in knowing it. The story progresses fast, for some, but it's easy to understand. It's not messy. They all did a great job!! I will definitely rewatch this for as long as I want!!Was this review helpful to you?
Heartwarming and motivating
If you want to watch a light hearted drama, feeling like you aren't doing well and need motivation i recommend you this. This is not a energy shot steroid but a feel good drama, it may not excite you much but will definitely give comfort. As it is not a rom com but a workplace story their conversation and life lessons, experience is what made me watch this. They will teach you the value and need of humanity among us. The safe environment one need to grow and develop. I love every episode as I've binged till 10 episodes and waited for the next i didn't feel bored or unnecessary twists. The osts are sweet and beautiful. A little love story between leads is good and help one in developing character and change of heart.Was this review helpful to you?

Watch when bored
Its one of those feel good kdramas tbh. It didn't leave a strong mark on me after I finished and I honestly already forgot what the kdrama was about. It does get interesting at times but this is also one of those kdramas where you just have to have patience to get through. I didn't hate it though! I think the characters are very likeable and I like how romance didn't play a big part but it was still subtly there. If you're bored and just wanna start a kdrama for the sake of it then this is the one! Its not that hard to follow although you kinda forget what the plot is throughout it, and it ends with a sort of an open ending. You don't know if the main character ends up with the main lead or the second lead. I'm glad they left it like this!!Was this review helpful to you?
Static Plot and Characters
The first two episodes are honestly really exciting. It sets the tone of the show and shows a lot of potential for the directions it could take. However, I've watched over half the show by now and nothing has changed. Every episode essentially goes like this: one of their artists has a problem, they try and find a way to fix it, meanwhile evil director guy tries to get the webtoon team kicked out of the company because they're struggling to keep up sales. This fact, by the way, is one of the major issues in this webtoon and, yet, despite reaching episode 8 NO progress whatsoever has been made. I was hoping for a story like Search: WWW where they come up with ways to increase sales and become number one. However, this entire first half of the show was just a major drag and repeated complaining. Also basically all the characters except Ma Eum (female lead) and the annoying coworker are static and boring. They have no character development whatsoever, and the male lead (is he even the male lead at this point?) lacks any personality. So I was so excited when I Heard that kim sejeong is coming with this new series.And I'm watching it and have to say that I'm not disappointed..damn..so let's talk about why you should start watching this drama-
1• the --SCRIPT --
Script is very fresh yet so exciting. Every character have their own story. It's a female centred plot but not boring..they show every characters life so beautifully.
Romance plot is amazing.. both Ml and second ML are charming and have amazing chemistry with FL.
Side characters are nicely written.
Webtoon industry is so much more than we think... it's fun to watch how artists and their webtoon department employees face new problems each day but still do their best to make readers happy.
CHARACTERS ---
Om ma eum/FL(kim sejeong's character is just so amazing and it's fun to watch her dealing with everything happening around her.
She is someone who is very warm and bright just like a sun. Her quality is she never gives up and always gives her best . When she make up her mind nobody can stop her. she is so kind and always smile so brightly (just like sejeong herself) but she is very hardworking and strong minded girl.
ML is a handsome a handsome co-worker who is well qualified. He is someone who is not rude and always think before doing anything.. he is sensitive and tbh a very new kind of male lead in kdrama land..godd nowdays male lead's are setting bar so high..why they are so good ..huhh..
Second ML is someone with a special charm . He is a senior who never forget to help FL and always encourage her.. I like his character.. he is an amazing boss. His chemistry with FL is so good..
ACTING:-
Kim sejeong's is an amazing actress.. her past dramas proved that.. she proved herself as a good actress in school 2017, uncanny counter, business proposal etc.
As we all know she is a CHEMISTRY queen.. her chemistry with ML, second ML and everyone in the drama isso good and fun to watch.
Her laugh is addictive and her versatility is no joke.. over-all sejeong didn't disappoint me at all.
Other cast is doing amazing job too..there are so many senior actors too so you can understand how good this drama is.
Final points:-
•Plot is superb.. hooked with 1st episode. And it's getting more and more exciting.
•this drama is light-hearted but writers doing great job showing difficulties of webtoon industry.
•Acting is on point.. nobody is doing over.. and supportive cast is nice too.
• it's fun tow watch' a gold medalist turn into a webtoon producer and doing her job as a newbie and facing daily probelms and solving them.
•comedy is on point..you will definitely don't feel bored at all.
•bg music is nice

Lost
I wanted to like this series. I loved the lead actress in business proposal. She’s perky and always portrays positivity. But the story is, I’m afraid, going nowhere. The characters arks are not developed enough. We still don’t know anything about the ML and we are already mid way through. He’s indecisive about his life and about what to do. Big deal… I think he could have been a little bit stronger. Not too strong as to geopardise the gender swap comedy scenes which I particularly enjoy. I find him flat without any real personality.The supporting cast is so so as well apart from the annoying coworker who really is doing a great job at getting on my nerves. Even On Ma Eum’s boss is too flat a character.
It could have been a bit more powerful I think.
The webtoon industry is depicted as ruthless and that’s what I found interesting.
I’ll continue to watch but without much conviction …

Inspirational
I have seen many web series but this web series was one of emotional and filled with inspiration.everyone in life wants to achieve some thing and the one who is weak could become strong and one who is strong could become stronger by watching this Web toon i wish and i also expect season 2 of this series hoping for best to all the crew members of this team .love u guys keep going fighting ....... And this is one of most important series of my life too as this series i would like to be strong and coming back to episode i thought i lead role will end up with Romans but it was cute and simple proposal we expect the answer form the pd om but the series ended without the answer made us little disappointed but i think the direction could think of the season 2 of today's Web toon so we look forward to see the series as soon as possible.i wish good luck to hole crew and success with their future projects love u guys keep fighting .............Was this review helpful to you?
