The series follows the story of a group of strangers who are all having a hard time processing a horrible experience from their past.


An unexplainable phenomena finds college-going student, Li Shi Qing, trapped in a never-ending time loop where she is always stuck on a public service bus which is due to explode, bringing death and destruction to not only herself but to all on board.
Together they try to find a way to alter their fate by ensuring the bus arrives safely at its destination, but attempting to do so proves anything but easy.

Shares the same cause-and-effect structure, where characters receive consequences from an unknown force (a time loop instead of an app).

Anyone who had seen Reset knows what a rare and standing ovation portrayal it did with the police. It's sadly rare ro see policemen in dramas who actually know what they are doing and are terrifyingly capable at it, you don't want to find yourself at their scrutiny.
Now we have another drama like that, also within the first quarter of 2022! Yaaayy! Be Reborn's cops will not make your intelligence feel insulted as the audience, guaranteed.

Despite the modern vs. historical settings, both dramas have the same premise of the FL trapped in a time loop that ends with a fiery explosion before the day repeats again.

ML and FL both can repeatedly time travel but only back to a certain point in time to try to survive events that end in their deaths. They're the only ones who retain the memory of what happened before, and work together, first as allies, then friends, and then fall in love.

Both are sci-fi suspense thriller dramas with high level production quality. Alhambra was more focused on romance, while Reset was more focused on time loop and slight romance. In Alhambra, ML is the CEO of a video game company. In Reset, ML is a video game designer. Both were led by good actors, writers and directors.

Both are Chinese dramas with a time travel theme in which one or both of the leads are trying to prevent a tragedy from happening.

Both the drama starts with different back ground. CLOSER TO YOU is based on REGRET and RESET is based on ACCIDENT, but following things are common in both drama...
