Zhan Yan surrenders to the demon lord and tells him to kill him since he is the godson. People in the city carve Zhan Yan's name to remember him and keep him alive. Duan Mu surrenders herself to Wen Gu Wei Yu to end the war. The fake Jiang Yi starts the war with a few arrows. Duan Mu dies to stop the war. Another demon kills the demon king and takes the heart devouring curse, but is killed by the fake Jiang Yi. Jiang Yi then goes to ascend to heaven, but it doesn't work.
