Definetly something different

I liked this one, I think the drama and story were overall very unique. I liked that the aliens didn't look fake at all in my opinion, in other words, the sci-fi was on point. the ending in other words was very disappointing and when I watched the second part it made it worse because it's so confusing. I'd still give it a 10/10 because overall everything stood out to me. I think the first episodes in the second part were so cool, and every character had a huge development. if you are looking to watch something different I recommend this. This was even different than All of us are dead. Which is one of my top dramas, it was different. I can only hope for a third reason to make it make sense in my head. Honestly, I suggest you stop watching after ep 6, although the beginning of the second part its super cool, and you can see all of them coming together and helping each other. I read lots of comments saying the it shows the typical other drama's story but it was different for me given the situations they were in. I recommend dit though, its different and not boring at all.

Lindo, apaixonante e doloroso.

took a 3 yr hiatus cus of this drama

ive never posted a review but this one shook me to the core, il be writing spoilers so if u dont wanna know this my general opinion of it is if u have all the time in the world to binge things this ones decent to binge (not for ur emotional state tho fyi).

first thing i came into the drama with no expectations, lovely casting could tell everyone's personalities from each person and sometimes kdramas like to skip out on that make the people boring but everyone had their own goal n plot driven problem to work on, some were lacking tho like the guy that was fixated on doing his end of terms (THAT IS IMPORTANT FOR LATER) that wasnt very realistic in my eyes even if the apocalypse was aliens some ppls drive as a character made no sense like his, like ur about to die n ur worrying about end of terms being cancelled....i wonder why.

secondly as we get towards the middle section of the drama where we uncover many plot points od=f what the aliens are n how they behave i like that cus it makes the story flow well uncover key point of it n is still interested about how theyl overcome it when they teach the kids to fight them. Also i see a bit of some love interests here and there the whole characters bonding over trauma thats a good part of the plot, the usual drama with bullys that slowly have a character development i find is a good way to drive the plot makes u empathise with the characters n build n learn with them.

THEN it goes downhill on the 2nd part ( i watched it on a website that included part 1 and 2 together didnt realise till later though) the guy from earlier driven by the stupid tests ends up getting some weird hallucinations n suddenly goes on a murder spree for some odd reasons that doesnt get explained too well in my opinion since it was all uncovered like maybe 2 episodes to the end (from my memory its been a while) right at the end n kills the major mc characters, i think thas lazy scripting and effort into your series as an ending it shows they didnt know how else to end it so they killed people, not even 1 but MOST of them. i jus found that such a big betrayal especially since i sat through that whole drama happily though most of it till the end with a sudden 360 ending.

yes i actually did end up stop watching kdramas cus of that cus i was so pissed at the writers (im back in my phase tho healing off other genres).

i do recc as a drama but the ending wasnt that good so plz dont watch with too much expectations tysm for reading up to this part have a lovely day/night <3.

Duty After School - Part 1

- If you have watched "All of Us are Dead", you would enjoy this. (And vice versa)
- The characters are all unique.
- They portrayed Na-ra as this *perfect girl* who is great at everything. (It annoyed me because it wasn't very realistic?? Or maybe we are in the protagonist's POV?)
- I love how they made the characters look so naive and act immature and sweet leading up to Part 2..

IS THIS A MUST WATCH?! prob.......

A.... Yes. I actually watched this season 1 and season 2 multiple times. This is worth watching!
First and foremost the cast! Although there are some of them who are not popular as much as other actors are, they are actually really good! And speaking of the cast, I love it how the characters have their own roles, have their own lines no one had been left out and the y give importance to those characters so much.
Even though they're just supporting characters they are well played.

The characters relationship, their unity their bond, and everything I love it, and mostly their friendship. In time like this it is so good to see everyone helping each other to survive.

I actually love the 1st season tho.

And for the plot... I THINK A LOT WAS LEFT OUT. I don't know... But for sure something is missing.

As for CG it's good! 🔥

Totally entertaining and gore watch

Part 1 was totally the best, it's exciting and the VFX is so good. Making me miss Stranger Things! The gore is great too, making the drama tense and love the warmth of the kids.

While I have not read the webtoon, watching the rookie actress/actor in this drama is refreshing as I've watched most of them in other dramas such as At a Distance, Spring is Green and Under the Queen's Umbrella. Btw, again sadly the story shows how tense the school system is and they have to compare it for CSAT points. :x

Watched Part 2 too, Part 1 is definitely better.

We Were Just Kids, and They Gave Us Guns

I thought I knew what I was walking into. A sci-fi thriller. Teen soldiers. High-stakes alien warfare. I figured it’d be tense, maybe clever. What I didn’t expect was to come out the other side hollowed out — mourning people who didn’t exist, carrying grief for something that felt far too close to real.

Duty After School: Part 1 isn’t about aliens. Not really. It’s about being young and having that youth stolen by people in power who mistake bodies for strategy. It’s about kids forced to make sense of death before they even figured out who they were. There’s a quiet kind of devastation in watching someone still learning how to live suddenly being expected to kill.

Every student mattered. That’s what wrecked me. There were no cannon-fodder side characters, no one written just to be expendable. They were scared, selfish, compassionate, petty, brave — so human. And because the story gave them space to be all of that, every loss hit harder. Every goodbye felt like something real being torn away.

The anger I felt — not at the monsters, but at the adults, the system, the normalization of sacrifice — that stayed. There was no big villain monologue, no neat justification. Just failure. Repeated, systemic, cowardly failure. And the show didn’t try to smooth that over. It let the betrayal speak for itself.

What crushed me most were the moments of kindness — those quick glances, inside jokes, the way they looked out for each other even when everything around them was falling apart. That camaraderie felt sacred. Because they knew what they were losing. Maybe that’s why it hurt so much. Not just who died, but what was taken from the ones who lived.

I didn’t cry right away. I just sat there, still. Like the air had been knocked out of me. And then it came in waves. For the promises cut short. For the joy that never had a chance to grow. For how quietly the show let everything unravel.

It didn’t ask for tears. It earned them.

This isn’t something I’ll forget. Not because of the concept. Because of the kids. Because they were never just soldiers in training. They were people. And the world treated them like numbers.

I felt every step of it. And I’m still not done feeling.

At first I didn't want to do it at all, but in the end my beloved sister forced me and I not only liked countless characters, laughed like an idiot, but also cried like a little child (it wouldn't be me, would it?). The actors did a great job. The idea for the whole story was amazing! It was really great and I can only recommend it (it might bring you a little trauma xdd). I think it deserves more recognition. By the way, there is a surprise at the very end after the credits, so watch it until the end and don't turn it off.

An honest review ( dont compare this drama with all of are dead)

Okay first of all.. It'll be a honest review.. I watched this drama after completing All Of Us Are Dead as i thought its similar to it.. But it's different totally... I think we shouldn't compare both of them as both are so unique in their own way... Okay in this drama the first ep was boring and it was necessary to lay the plot, for better understanding of characters & story.. So hold on to it during first ep it'll be better in second ep... In part 1 especially during starting eps there were many things that didn't make sense & logic like upto 4 eps... But if you watch from students pov you'll see they were just immature students who doesn't wanna accept the situation & just wanna go home... Thats okay so yeah in the start eps almost part 1 of the drama they were scared & doesn't wanna understand situation or they were just taking actions rashly without thinking but eventually they get better in part 2...okay so if i say the overall drama was so goodddddd... You must watch it.. And while watching don't think it'll be like All of us are dead... They both are different.. The story line the characters everything so dont compare... Just give it a try... I binged watch the drama.. As i said at first the actions of student doesn't make sense but just think they're just immature students & watch it.. And yeah ofc at last you'll be traumatized TT TT I hope you found this review helpful
