"you have to lose in order to gain"

I think that this show is the epiphany of these sayings but at the same, there is no "right way" or "wrong way" in the Joseon era. If you have watched a good handful of historical pieces you would know that it's either "kill or be killed" and you can see that the King is torn between that. " Bloody Heart" reminds me of the historical drama "The Crowned Clown" although the surrounding themes are slightly different, I think the circumstances and characters are quite similar. Both the king and the clown were portrayed as kind of "pitiful" characters, as in characters that you tend to deeply sympathize but also the characters that can be so pitiful that it can be difficult to watch because of their helplessness. There is a lot of conflict of ideals due to their surroundings.A lot of viewers were quite upset with the king's scheme due to the uproar that it caused but I side with the king on this one. Firstly I thought the scheme of such class mastery was because of how many people he managed to outsmart. Secondly, it proved his capability as a king. I don't think that anyone would have thought that Queen Dowager would have turned into a tyrant or that Ttoengoma, Siwol and the officials would die. Then again, "you have to lose to gain, feel sadness to feel happiness and sacrifice to succeed" so it was inevitable. Consort Park has the right to feel deceived but at the same its wasn't completely the king's fault. There were just too many outliers and she also had a few chance to get Ttoengoma out of the palace, not the point though. As much as I love Consort Park but i think that she needs to consider the fact that in that time era for a king there bloodshed is inevitable. However, a character like hers is needed as an ancher especially for the King.LCP does remind me of the Cheif Secretary from "The Crowned Clown", they both feared that kings would go astray as soon as they had a taste of power as power gains more enemies and fear which could lead to a massacre. However, LCP is a bit more extreme but in Episode 15, I believe that LCP proved his point and the king could spiral our control at any moment now that Consort Park is doesn't confine with his methods. Consort Park was devising her own plans in order to test the King's morality and I really wonder if she can actually get the king confined to her ideals but from what it seemed like in this episode, I don't think that the King is going to budge and that he is prepared to abandon Consort Park.Queen Dowager surprised me because she actually quite a capable Queen but unfortunately a tragic one. Her character was bound to die from the beginning. LCP's wife from the beginning proved her capability but was torn between LCP ideals and ex-lover. She deserved better. This Historical piece once again proved that no official is completely loyal or can be trusted. Each character has their own ideals and methods of achieving them with their fair share of sins and I am very excited to see how far they will go to achieve their ideals and how the show will conclude. With that being said this show is definitely a 10/10, would recommend and watch it again. If you have read this far, haha, thank you for reading my 2c.
