Satisfying Action
9/10. Just finished 👫🏻👫🏻👫🏻 good good very good! By the way, I really like this kind of action, it's satisfying 🤌🏻 I really like the bromance, it makes me want to have a brother who is like that HAHAAHAH. The acting is really cool, Woo Dohwan is really cute, his acting is really different from the character he used to do. I think Dohwan will be a naughty + arrogant child. I'm getting cold sweats every time I watch this because I'm afraid of the next ep & the ending will be bad + it won't live up to expectations, but I know it's okay. The bad thing about this drama is that the ending is packed too tightly, so the ending just seems like a lot has been skipped T_T even though overall it's really good. Not to mention that Hyeonju Ancrit suddenly disappeared because the actress was caught in a scandal irl, duh 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Well, the point is, it's actually good at the beginning, the only thing lacking in the ending is in the ep s 7- 8 was starting to get a little less exciting for me but I kept going until the end. Gunwoo's mother is also really lovely, this drama taught me to keep doing good things, really. I'm touched by Gunwoo's family, Woojin + Choi Taeho's character is also melting 🫂Was this review helpful to you?
Gritty action, frustrating story.
I really enjoyed the fighting scenes and bromance in this drama, but unfortunately that wasn't enough to make up for the drama's faults. My biggest gripe is just the writing/story, specifically with regards to how the actions of some of the characters were written and how some scenes played out. I feel like in each episode, there was always at least one mistake a character made that, on one hand, you could realistically drum it up to being an honest to God mistake, but on the other hand, you can just tell the mistake was purposesly written in order for the bad guys to get yet another one-up on them and for the plot to move along.
It's just frustrating to watch as a viewer, because based on what we have come to know about each character, their background, strengths, fighting specialisties, etc., we would expect things to play out a certain type of way, and when they don't it just seems like a disservice to the character.
In summary, I just felt like the bad guys were given plot armour 99% of the time while the good guys had to suffer the most and it was frustrating to watch.
Aside from the plot frustrations, everything else was good. All actors did a great job, even Saeron, and I loved the bromance and fighting as well.

A show which is a perfect combination of almost all genres...?
A show packed with awesome action scenes, heart wrenching loyalty and betrayal, outstanding bonds between friends and family, heart racing car chase scenes and topped with a pinch of comedy. That's not all, the bromance between the mls is something you definitely cannot miss. The cast did a great job portraying their characters. The plot of Woo Do Hwan and Lee Sang Yi boxing duo and Park sung woon and Kim sae ron as loan sharks with other characters was very promising.... up until the 7th episode.
From 7th episode onwards, the story gets filled with plot holes and gets 2 dimensional. Things gets hasty at 7th and 8th ep, the fl gets involved in a reallife DUI and the production team had to heavily edit her scenes out from this series, so the story had changed quite a lot. Its quite considerable that the writers had to change the story in a very short period of time.
Some of the characters were.... plain stupid. Geon woo's mom being the prime example. Ig it was for the lack of time as it was only a 8 episode series, but a little backstory would have been more fulfilling.
Lastly, the archer girl was interesting and realistic.

best streetfight kdrama ever
I cried, screamed and howled so much while watching this drama omg!!! it was a ride!!!definitely not for the faint-hearted! episode 5 absolutely KILLED me!!!
in general i really loved the story and how excitement was being built up through every episode. the actors matched really well to their roles as well! I was positively surprised when i saw choi siwon in this too 😂
the fighting scenes were insane and watching my husband woo dohwan being fierce and cute at the same time drove me crazyyyy!
There were a few things that I was confused about or that didnt make much sense to me:
1. I wished Hyeonju would have come back at the end of the season.
2. I didn’t quite understand why they had the need to kidnap Mr. Oh 🤔 still doesnt make sense to me…
All in all it was a good show! Absolutely NO romance happening in this drama which was very refreshing and exactly what i needed!
One of the few dramas i would rewatch!

Disappointed...again!!!
So this is about the third drama that I've watched that have left me thinking what the heck is going on here!!!In the beginning you get the sense that the son(not going to name names) was trying to help out his mom pay some bills so he's going to do some boxing to win money to help her but then she takes out a loan and not read the fine print and get herself into a whole lot of trouble with some crooked loan people. Common sense should tell you if it sounds too good to be true, it usually isn't. This drama brought out all the stupidity of people.
The first few episodes held my interest because I wanted those who were doing those illegal loans to pay for it dearly.
The one thing that didn't disappoint me was the fighting scenes! Oh, man! I'm not heavily into boxing but kind of swayed me. It was weird barely seeing any martial arts in a Asian drama though.
Episodes 6-8 was where I became utterly disappointed. I thought the whole gang was going to take down the main villain and get some well deserved justice but half the cast literally gets obliterated by two men. The main female is nowhere to be seen in the last few episodes even though she got on my ever lasting nerves in the beginning. I loved the fact that she was able to hold her own against countless of guys. That one guy's pride was so hurt after he got beat by a girl.
The last two episodes was underwhelming. The second main ML gets severely injured but looks buff and unharmed in the last episode. There's a new girl in the picture trying to replace the other girl. She shows she's good in archery but missed a lot of shots...Really?! She also said she can fight but she never do.
The take down of the two main bad guys was what really tanked it for me. I don't know what I was expecting but I know I wasn't expecting it to end in the lowest of take downs ever.
I know I haven't seen the first main ML and the main male villain in some dramas in a few years and was excited to see them both in one but wondered since they haven't been in anything in a few did they just took what they could? Did they not have any questions when doing the table read because I know I would've had some questions.
All in all, this drama have left me in a Kdrama slump. I'll be glad when I can find one that will restore my faith in Korean dramas. Until then...the slump continues.

Woo do Hwan is back!!!
Unexpectedly it was really intresting storyline. And acting has been outstanding. Its my first ever review for any drama. All characters no matter how smal may have been the part in the series has been well written and potraid well.
It had its light moments. Sang yi was a surprise to watch.
Park sung woong has always been one of my favourite villians.
Action sequences were really well executed however at times its monotonous.
I would have preferred if they would not have killed few characters.
Overall a good watch if someone is looking for non romance action thriller.

John Wick meets Sons of Anarchy—swap bikes for Korean food and moral dilemmas
"Bloodhounds : 8.5/10 – A Gritty, Punch-Drunk Love Letter to Brotherhood & Bare-Knuckle Justice"🔥 WHY IT RULES:
Woo Do-hwan & Lee Sang-yi’s chemistry – More bromantic than romantic, with fight scenes that’ll make you wanna join a gym (or a vigilante squad).
The no-CGI action – Raw, face-cracking brawls that feel painfully real.
Villain you’ll love to hate – Park Sung-woong’s loan shark is disgustingly charismatic.
🩸 THE "OUCH" MOMENTS:
That one basement scene – You’ll watch through your fingers.
The emotional gut-punches – Friendship trauma hits harder than the punches.
The rushed ending – Needed 2 more episodes to stick the landing.
🎯 VERDICT:
"Like John Wick meets Sons of Anarchy—if they swapped the bikes for Korean street food and moral dilemmas." Watch if: You crave adrenaline, loyalty feels, and men who cry while beating people up. Skip if: You need subtlety or happy endings.

Wow. Just wow
So good. I binged watched all 8 episodes in netflix last night. I really loved every episode. The plot was superb and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was so action packed and suspenseful. I am such a huge fan of the two male leads and their relationship, the characters and the story really was superb. Really don’t have anything bad to say about this kdrama. One of my favorite dramas this year for sure. Watch it you won’t regret it. I will definitely be rewatching this as it was so entertaining. Was this review helpful to you?

Do it! Go watch it! Don't hesistate! A netflix without an open ending, finally!
I loved this one. Disclaimer: Don't mind KSR character disappearance and just watch it expecting that her story ends somewhat well. I think it wasn't completely out of nowhere and was very happy they didn't keep any loose strings with her like dying or so.The series: it was amazing and complete. The two leads played their parts very well and helped the other stay grounded and grow. I am sad we didn't get our perfectly happy ending but the story did make sense.
The ending: it was great. There's a possibility for season 2 and there's hope that we see them again; however, the story we followed ended. No hiding tricks and nothing left for us to see with the plot beyond our characters' original dream coming true. The characters grew into what we wanted them to be.
Please watch if you don't mind blood. Some hard scenes will be there but it's not horror level gore. The action is great I usually skip action scenes because they don't interest me but I found myself replaying to watch them again.
Hopes for season 2: !!!!!!!! (please please please skip this part if you didn't finish it yet) idm spoliers but the below won't be nice to know before watching!!!!!!!!!!!!

- I really wanna see and believe Lee Doo-young or at least his family are alive! If there were to be season 2 it'd be too bad that all the ahjusshis are gone!
- If that isn't possible, I want a pre-Kim Myeong-gil storyline with old gang.
- I am dropping my hopes of Hyun-joo's return but if she were to comeback I want to know she's done something to the revenge could be unrelated to the clean up our couple has done but still some active participation that helped them in secret.
- Jae-min, our kim min jae, he needs to be back! He's a smartass and could be used by Ill group illegally if they ever wanna enter the scene - in an attempt to not be targeted by some goons again. Y'know the chaebeol style/pride.
--> The MARINES! Idk what about them but that plotline better go somewhere. I loved the addition and it gave an incredible spice.
Is there more?

Overall this show was intense and kept me interested. Like many others have said there was definitely a disconnect starting episode 7. I was also kind of disappointed of the ending, I feel like I didn't get the most satisfaction. WDH didn't kill the villain and we didn't see what happened to him after which was unsatisfying. It didn't feel like a final fight scene- I would say the best one was the first one in episode 8. Also the fact that they captured Beom and tied him up and then let him go to the hospital so that he wouldn't die was so stupid because he just kept coming back like a video game character. They finally didn't need him for any info so there was 0 reason to keep him alive bc he literally spawned. I surprisingly really liked the bow and arrow girl, it was cool to see some variation from fist fighting lol. Acting was pretty good and WDH never disappoints. I'm not usually into gore and violence but this was an enjoyable and quick watch for the most part.

I enjoyed this one as a fun action packed bromance to get the adrenaline rushing and the sudden need to hit the gym. I was actually biting my nails a couple of times because the combination of music, staging and suspense just worked in a lot of moments of this drama. The tone is very solid overall. The two main characters are so lovable! And the actors portraying them are so charismatic! Yes. Give me a solid bromance any day of the week. Their chemistry was off the charts!
This drama is just plain fun, thrilling and action packed. But it also has heart with the wonderful bromance between the two male leads. There was not a moment that was draggy for me, which is a common issue with some dramas of this nature. I love that this is a shorter series that knew exactly what it was. It never tried to be some ridiculous super complicated drama that has tons of unnecesary plot twists for the sake of surprise. No. This drama is a simple, bloody, action good vs evil type of show. It is entirely self aware and not afraid to cut it short when it needs to. As long as you're aware of it before watching it you'll be happy.
It even goes as far of sending one of their main characters away when she is no longer needed in the story. I am probably in a minority but I applaud this decision. The FL was not bad but from a writing perspective she had nothing to contribute at that point of the drama and the writers just sent her off somewhere else. You know it was the right decision when you don't even miss her. The heart and soul of the drama are the boys anyways, so it's ok. And I actually prefered the end of the series FL that replaced her. She had so much more chemistry with the boys and was a breath of fresh air. She was not presented as a hinderance and was used sparingly, not taking unnecesary screentime away from the boys like the previous FL.
All in all I enjoyed this one a lot! It's a nice not very complicated show that made me smile, scream and cheer at my screen more than a couple of times. Well worth watching!

I have to say that this show was a roller coaster of intense action and heartfelt moments. my favorite part of this drama is the bromance that they had on this show. You will not deny that they had a strong bond sense the first episode when they sparred in the ring together. It was very interesting how they based the show and the story line on the covid 19 epidemic. Those were hard times that people were struggling with and are still struggling with till this day. I was able to relate to certain moments of the show which I liked. I was on the edge of my seat the whole entire time, especially when it came to the fighting scenes like .... OMG so amazing. If there is one thing that you would like about this drama if not anything else is the relationship the two male leads have with each other. We barely get to see a lot of bromance dramas and this has become one of my favorite action dramas of the year. I also have to say that some of the scenes were predictable but overall its a really great watch especially if you are someone who likes a lot of action and suspense.
