Both are short Korean series with violence and betrayed friendships.

both are about bromance between high school boys who rely each other, and involve school bullying, street fight and especially Shin Seung Ho, a versatile actor who seems tough and good at fighting.

Fighting against violence inside and outside of school

This is an action coming-of-age drama about a ‘weak hero’!

Somehow Warrior Baek Dong So left a similar impression on me as Weak Hero Class 1!
If you like action and heart-wrenching friendships, then these dramas are for you! The fighting choreography is some of the best ones I've seen.

Weak Hero Class 1 is a high-school drama, and it revolves around bullying and childhood trauma, while Warrior Baek Dong So is a historical/sageuk drama, which of course has a lot of political turmoil, assassinations, and sword fighting.

Even though the genre is completely different, both are dramas that highlight loyalty and betrayals, both are not romantic either. Both are great quality shows that might make you fall in love and shed tears for the characters.

I saw many people saying how the lead characters in Love For Love's Sake are similar/remind them of the ones in Weak Hero Class 1, just in a different universe.

Darkness and emotional investment. Both stories have protagonists fighting against the injustice while morality of the methods used are in the gray area. Both series have a strong sense of comraderie/bromance where the guys take care and protect each other.

Both series have similar vibes:
- all boys school,
- friendship,
- school violence,
- fighting scenes.

Both are psychological shows about the emotions and complicated relationships of high-school students. Angst, turmoil, unrequited love, coming of age, violent desires or outbursts. They are unexpectedly very dark and mature shows. While Weak Hero focuses on friendship, Kuzu no Honkai is about romance.

The high school depicted in the film is filled with bullies and fights. The protagonist goes head to head with bullies, and challenges the villains around him. The main character’s friends play a big part in his character growth. Both main character’s take the bullies head on. Both main character’s are raised (mainly) by their dad.

Both of these dramas show different aspects of youth that are often overlooked by those around them. Park Jihoon stars in them, and he does an amazing job with both characters. The relationships in both are also very intriguing and easy to grow attached to. Weak Hero is a bit darker in my opinion, but I still absolutely loved both shows.

Both are set in high school, and are cantered around a weak student becoming strong to fight, alongside their strong friend, against bullies..
Both are comedic

Both are bromances
Weak Hero may be the nicer show, however the friendship in Boys Be is more homoerotic (in my opinion). There are kinda innuendoes alluding that they’re lowkey more than friends. Kind of like a censored BL.

Plots are very similar. Violence and school bullying lead one young man to use his smarts to outwit the bullies and get revenge.

Minus the fantastical powers, we have very similar color palettes, filming techniques, story progression and overall vibe to both shows. Troubled teens compensating for their families difficulties in whatever way they perceive to be fit, navigating what they know of the world around them. Their narrow view of the world expands as events they experience quickly make that world more and more dangerous. High school dynamics, bullying and abuse, trauma, the formation of friendships - all similar themes explored in the shows, especially in the beginning. And obviously the close-up fight scenes, although more graphic in moving in my opinion.

Park Ji Hoon uses his intelligence to protect his friends and fight back against the violence that takes place both inside and outside of his school

Both about student life
Blackout is more about past, while Weak hero Class one tells about the present and how friends change overtime
