SPOILER ALERT! [10/10]

Absolutely love this first episode! A very good introduction episode that begins with an animation of the background story that took place a hundred years ago to the present time. We're introduced to our main character, Zhao Tantan, an orphan who was adopted by Qingyuan Sect's leader. She's an energetic, witty, and funny girl spoiled by everyone in the sect, and she wants to prove to her sect leader (who I think acts as her father figure) that the sect needs her more than Mu Bai. To everyone, Mu Bai is a legend who disappeared a century ago and his absence made the sect fall from its glory days. In her journey to prove to the sect leader that he should move on from Mu Bai, Tantan met the 'weak' Cui Chen. They don't have to spoil anything, to be honest, because it's so obvious that Cui Chen is Mu Bai. It would be funny and shocking if it turns out Mu Bai is someone else and Cui Chen is just Cui Chen. There are flashbacks that show Cui Chen with a girl who has an uncanny similarity to Zhao Tantan. Considering that Cui Chen was Mu Bai, maybe Tantan is that woman's reincarnation? She must've been a hundred years old by now, but as we learned at the beginning of the episode, Qingyuan Sect's leader found baby Tantan 18 years ago. I'm so happy with this episode. The story moves quickly, and I skipped no scenes. I threw some laughs here and there, and overall, I'm satisfied with the premise. I'm looking forward to the upcoming episodes.
