Under the Skin

The focus on the crimes on women woven into the story feels very similar. Also the vibe and the production quality of both drama is at par. Look wise & length wise , both drama feel same. Under the skin has various cases but Murderous affair has one case that spans whole length and has an ensamble cast.

They both share a similar plot where the ml starts working for the police, in anti fraud learlgue, he is blackmailed as he is caught doing bad things and although they both start off on the wrong note, they develop their relationship

Due to an incident five years ago, Shen Yi, a young painter, caused the death of a detective unknowingly. In the present day, he joins the police as a sketch artist to solve the case. He was partnered with Du Cheng who despises him for what happened 5 years prior. Over time, they work together on various cases and Shen Yi starts to impress Du Cheng and the others at the station due to his results. They all become closer. Can they work together and finally crack the case that has haunted them for the past five years together?

Zhang Jing Yi is the FL in both. The chemistry is natural. The relationship had depth. However, BEITD does not have a satisfactory ending.

They're both dramas involving drawing (and generally, art), though the stories go much beyond that. UtS is very much set into strong bromance (though one can always imagine more), BCYD seems more honest about it.

But if you're interested in a ML who CAN draw (impossible drawings, in UtS), these dramas both have something to offer (and some BL to the side, even if censored or pretend non-existent in one of them).

If you like crime dramas, watch this. It's a surprisingly beautiful show, with great acting and stories, and the different art they show throughout the series is wonderful. Honestly, this show had me from the opening credits and did not disappoint from then on. No romance, some bromance.

Both are related to crime/justice with a focus on female victims and stories. There is also an element of revenge, or at least a long standing grudge/case in Under the Skin

Both are detective style drama. One to find out the death of his mother while the other to solve the mystery of the death of his master. Both also deal with forensic doctors and police .

Both have crime, action and two male leads and no female lead.
Both guys in under the skin are detectives.
Both guys are there for one another in under the skin too.
Not a lot of bromance in under the skin as compared to Killer and healer but still, good enough and the plot is good too.

Both are dark mystery thrillers with no romance that involve tragedies of the past that the characters have to overcome. Much of the story is dedicated to the leads and their relationship.
