u got to be kidding me - like what the actual f*ck!!! the OG drama was cut short cause of censorship & this cause the producers were planning on a 2nd season?!??? or this someone's idea of a bad joke?!? they left it open & now we stuck with this unfinished mess?!? u got to be kidding me... as sad i was worried it would be, a sad ending would be much better, as would get some sort of closure, then this sh*t. i am fuming!!!***********************************************************************************************************************************************i wanna give this 0.5 stars, just for this insulting ending, people wasted hell of a lot of time watching, loving the character's - investing time & emotions only to get slapped in the face by this "finale" really?!? but cause of the acting & the mains ima give this 3 (well when i think about the actors & everything they put into this, i wanna give a much higher score) but then i remember this ep & sorry but don't wanna be bothered by giving them anything.********************************************************************************************************************************************ironic that Mo Yi's father got rid of his sister (assuming) & now his son is following in his footsteps... if the whole situation with Wu Bi's mother was dealt with ( the not guilty adults involved) wouldn't just leave it up to the cops, maybe Wu Bi would never have ended up in this situation. *******************************************************************************************************also in the book (not that read it from start to finish) from the little i know, i don't think Gu Hai ended up dying. even though the writers here did change the plot, so idk - left guessing. oh well the end - pity that it ended the way it did (know am repeating myself) really loved & enjoyed this. loved a whole bucket list of character's & would've loved if this drama would've been the typical C-drama, that's over 30-40 episodes. as even though this was long i didn't feel like i was bored or there was too much filler. alas when u need more, u get this "ending" oh well. maybe if/when i rewatch i will watch until ep 23...

wish there will be season 2, but i had seen many series were left cliffhanger ending. Anyway, at the end if you noticed when the doctor come out, the doctor seem to talk quite much, more than simply "We did our best".. perhaps that was a sign that wu bi alive for us.. in most cases when the doctor talks more than that simple and short sentences, it meant to explain the situation and condition. ^.^

I wish I could give this a 10. Objectively, it could be. However, it hurt so bad that I cannot give it more than what I already have. It was so painful and we almost got no moments between them (apart from the kiss on the cheek, which, looking back on it now, it freaking hurts). The cousin can burn in hell. I hope we get a season two. I'm depressed now - that's all.

Some one better tell me there is a Season 2 unless its gonna be worse than what happened to addiction Series.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!What kind of ending was that?I'm crushed.Can't believe, we got to see the accident and didn't even get a clue, if Wu Bi will make it out of this alive or not. This series was one of my Highlights this year so far, but the last episode crushed it for me.I really really hope, we'll get the promised 2nd season and that Wu Bi is alright - or else I will riot!!!

I know some take this ending as sad but i think it gives hope for what is to come in season 2 and im looking forward to it. This episode in particular is filled with such great screenwriting and the ending is executed perfectly if not better than in the novel. I am so happy i watched this series and this is one of my top shows of 2023.

Love the story line. Wish It could end in a good note and also the details about accident. Instead of memories.
