Personally, I liked blueming more, but that's just my personal opinion

There is one character who is very confident and there is another shy insecure person in both these dramas.

both are korean BL adapted from the webtoon "Who Can Define Popularity?" (??? ??? ??????) written by Tak Bon

Both series are slow burn with yearning. Please Tell Me So is just super short + worth-watching show and Blueming is a mini series with its series topic but you can see the similar vibe in both <3

While watching this It gave me the same vibe. I really like the simplicity and realism of both drama. Because they are so mundane that you have no hard time believing that this can truly happen in real life. And you leave the ending wanting more yet satisfied that it’s an hopeful end.

They have the same director which is Hwang Da Seul and the cinematography is similar. There are many aesthetic looking shots similar to Where Your Eyes Linger. The overall colors is similar especially in the kissing scene where there is a sunset.

Both shows are miniseries depicting campus life/romance and their challenges. Both series feature a male lead that struggles with self acceptance and insecurity but wants to be popular. Although Blueming is LGBTQ+ focused (whereas At a Distance, Spring is Green is a bromance) both stories are realistic and have the typical coming-of-age plot.

But blueming is definitely so much better .it's so good .if you haven't watched it yet I really recommend a watch

Both shows are produced by the same team and are notable for their excellent overall quality and the queer authenticity they bring to the table. Blueming falls a little more on the mature side than Sing My Crush, but both series are overall very wholesome and sweet.

The plots aren't all that similar tbh. They are both korean bls that have a university setting. They are both really well written and the characters have actual 'character' compared to other bls.
They both set a high standard and should both be appreciated.
