We start the show with Sheng Sheng eating what seems to be a chinese steamed bun

The first time Sheng Sheng Man and Qiang Qing Ci  talk the recipe he teaches her is a pork stomach and chicken soup. Supposedly is a famous Cantonese Hakka dish.

When they are at the same restaurant without knowing they are eating hot pot. I think the girls were sharing a  classic Sichuan style spicy broth and a chicken stock based mild broth.Qiang Qing Ci tells Sheng Sheng Man her names reminds him of okra stuffed with shrimp paste. While talking with him Sheng is eating her mom's homemade noodle soup with bok choy, scallions and  egg. Mr. Mo is later seen eating what seems to be spicy instant noodles with an egg and some side dishes that I have no idea what they are.

Later in the episode Mr. Mo describes the steps of how to prepare Sichuan-style fish flavoured eggplant. That leads to Sheng Man asking her mom to eat something like liuzhou river snails rice noodles(luosifen).

~~ Episode 5 ~~

Qiang Qing Ci  invites Sheng Man to eat bamboo shoot soup. They also discuss about what side dishes they should get and supposedly they get grilled gluten and pu erh tea.

Sheng Man is said to be carrying in her backpack meat mooncakes, egg yolk pastry, duck gizzards, duck necks, chips, deboned chicken feet, dried pork, and daily nuts.

Sheng Man brought her friends a lot of snacks, specifically pork jerky, dried mango and chips.

Qiang Qing Ci  is seen cooking trotter soup.

Sheng Man and Qiang Qing Ci  are seen drinking bubble tea.

~~~~Episode 7~~~

The server suggests  that Geng Xiao Xing and Zhou Zheng get the "Love At First Sight Set" which is a macchiato with a small amounts of vanilla and milk.

If I am correct Gu Sheng was drinking a Pepsi when Dong Yi Ru confronts Gu Sheng about dating Qiang Qing Ci and being Sheng Sheng Man

Gu Sheng's grandfather is supposed to eat a orange, tomatoes and scrambled eggs.

Gu Sheng is seeing drinking warm milk (warm enough to burn her tongue). And Qing Ci is seen eating instant lamen from some chinese brand.

~~~~Episode 8~~~~

Gu Sheng is offered strawberries and orange juice as she arrives for dinner at Qing Ci's apt. Then later she helps Qing Ci cook a crispy skinned fish in chili sauce. The recipe is as followed:

"First, make slits on both sides of the fish like this.(...)Then add some salt to the mixture of egg and starch prepared in advance.(...)After mixing, apply it all over the fish. When we start cooking later, just put the entire fish into the pan. Fry it until it gets golden, then take it out and put it on a plate. Leave some oil in the pan to stir-fry minced ginger and garlic until they become fragrant. Then add chili, soy sauce, salt, and sugar, and stir them well. Finally, pour the mixture onto the fish with chopped chives."

The dinner the couple serves to their friends is a crispy skinned fish in chili sauce along with rice, fish flavored eggplants, braised pork ribs and braised clams and conch soup and pork stomach and chicken soup, bamboo shoot soup and shrimp stuffed okra. Later Dou Bing, Zhou Zheng , Wang Ke and Fei Shao are seen arguing over eating (probably as dessert) a fruit plate with oranges, green grapes, cheese and tomatoes.

Dou Bing offers soy milk to Zhou Zheng.

Gu Sheng invites Qing Qi to eat at the university's canteen because there is a Xinjiang restaurant in there, that makes a really good sauteed spicy chicken. However they got to the canteen too late and end up without the chicken, I don't know what they eat for sure but they seem to be eating rice and dry-sauteed string beans. By the end of the episode Qing Qi finally makes the Xiajiang sauteed spicy chicken for Gu Sheng and her friends (when they first meet) along with belt noodles, cumin lamb, kebobs, and spicy and sour cabbage.

Qing Qi offers to make some Yangzhou fried rice for Gu Sheng's friends.
