There are quite a few lines and scenes in "The Road to Splendor" that feel like little life lessons—things about people, choices, relationships and simply knowing how to live ✨️

I’m collecting the ones that made me stop and think, “That’s actually worth remembering.”🫡

Do share your fav ones 🥰

Madam Yu : "A river doesn’t rush to be first. It triumphs because it continues to flow "

Shahbaz18:

FTY:

"Who you are born as doesn't matter who you live to become is what matter"

Awesome 👌 👏

Zhao Ling:

What's the first rule of surviving out here?

If words will do, never use your fists.

If fists will do, never use your money.

And if money will do, never risk your life.

Ep 17 ZL : There are some lines we can cross and some some lines we can't. Do you want a moment of glory or a lifetime of clear conscience?

Ep17

CW: Tell me, what do you want?

ZL : A chance.

CW: And what do you think a chance is?

ZL: Fairness

CW: Fairness? Fairness means having what everyone else has.A chance is something no one else has, Something that's yours alone. That's why they say, talent is easy to find but opportunity is rare.Young man, think carefully & tell me, What is it you truly want?

ZL :I want to make something of myself. I want to rise to the highest ranks.I want people I care about never to be bullied or humiliated. I want the brothers at my side never to die because of me again. If there is a road in this word that leads all the way the top, no matter how hard it is, I'll climb it one step a time.

CW: Everything you've said is for yourself. Why should I help you? Let me answer that for you. In this world few are born with YJX's advantages. But there are countless people like you, born with nothing, with no family or status behind them. Only when someone like you rises , will those without privileges be less easily trampled and, only when people like you hold power will there be a little less injustice in this world. Am I right?

Phoenix23:

Ep17: CW : Your methods may be unconventional, but your purpose must be honorable.

OMG! I came here to write the exact thing! Commander Wang is an excellent character.

Some people in this world share a bed but not a heart yet play the part in public

Some treat each other with respect, yet remain worlds apart

Some weather the storms together, yet still lose to time

Some have run their course, yet are bound together all the same
