BLACKPINK's 5th anniversary movie. "BLACKPINK: The Movie" is a film commemorating the fifth anniversary of the debut of the world's beloved global group, BLACKPINK consisting of four members: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa. BLACKPINK went on to sweep the top spot on all music charts in Korea within four hours of their debut, making a splendid appearance as a "monster rookie." Five years later, the group has become a world star with their outstanding skills and performances beyond the distinction between the genre "K-Pop" and the "girl group" stereotype. All four members have their own specialties in vocal, dance, rap, and music, but they form a perfect chemistry with each other, giving off infinite charm that is as colorful as Pink but does not lose the intensity of Black. A disappointing, empty, pointless documentary
A documentary is not fiction, but it's still meant to tell a story. Blackpink: The Movie does not. Instead of any cohesive through line it skips unpredictably between backstage clips from their tour or online concert, to concert performances, to art-house style films for each member, to group Q&A, then back to concert clips and so on. There's no emotional rise or fall, no overcome conflicts, not even much of a sense of accomplishment. Even the interviews are low on information content, instead being mostly a mix of emotional self-expression, thanking the fans, and wishing to see them soon.By contrast Blackpink: Light Up The Sky tells a clear story, of the rise of Blackpink from pre-debut through to their 2019 Coachella performances. Skip this and watch Light Up The Sky instead.

THE MOVIE
I have seen Blackpink THE MOVIE yesterday. It's a very beatiful film. During a lot of time Blackpink's members sing the most popular songs from "How You Like That" to "Boombahya". Before to see the Blackpink Movie I enjoyed Blackpink song but after to have seen the movie I love the songs, I love Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rose and I Love everything about the group. At the end Lisa cries and it's a cute and beatiful scene. They use a lot of word for the BLINKS."Blackpink, Blinks, Forever" say Lisa.
