Extraordinary Attorney Woo: An Extraordinary Watch
" I like you, but I'm afraid that I will make you lonely." WHY IS THAT THE MOST DEVESTATING LINE I HAVE EVER HEARD??Park Eun-bin was INCREDIBLE: the Daesang was definitely well deserved.
The beginning episodes were SO interesting: I really liked the format of telling a new story every time. My favorite episode was definitely episode nine though.
I love the relationship between Young-Woo and her father. I think it was very well handled, and it was interesting to see how their relationship developed, and how honest he was to her (most of the time). I wish they had focused on that more.
Overall, it was very entertaining! A lot of the parts made me smile, and I think most of the topics were pretty well-handled. It did get a bit slow at the end, but it was still fun to watch!

A capturing storyline with great acting
As I like to do, I write review only on dramas that have some deeper meaning and this one is not an exception. The story of Woo Young Woo is one of a kind thus making it unique and distinguishing from all other ones. The idea is really extraordinary, making the viewer more interested in the topic. Although this topic of law, trials and work-life is hard to keep the public engaged into the drama, 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' and its' storyline creates a feeling of refreshment, and as a result, I didn't feel any boredom while watching it. Each episode tells a different story, covering a variety of subjects leading every 90 minutes different with an extra punch-line hidden within it. Many are to be mentioned, but the one I think of the most is that there are many people that have their own struggles that lead them to law, whether as the defendant or plaintiff.
The acting is marvelous and well-executed. The actress portraying main lead projecting an image of an autistic person. I love that this character is neither too much nor too little. It shows normal day-to-day problems such as sounds and order, but also the ones where the main lead is conscientious and straightforward. Even though the main lead steals the spotlight, the other actors and actresses are doing an excellent job.
To sum up, I think that this drama is worth watching and I would recommend it to anybody, no matter what genre they're interested in. It conveys a life of an autistic person very well and its' storyline is one of the most unique and one of the greatest in its' genre.

Must Watch Show
I loved every all of the reoccurring characters on this show. It is important to me that the main and side characters are like able or really good actors. And this show had it all. I really enjoyed the format of the episodes, since it was like a pseudo crime drama, that was a fun element. And I loved the main female lead. She is a great actress, and I love the respect you can feel she had for her character. Also her chemistry with all of her cast mates was so good. Chemistry is chemistry in, you know. So good, I highly recommend!!Was this review helpful to you?

extraordinary series
An extraordinary lawyer is the series you need to watch to broaden your concepts and knowledge, you need to watch this series. The series brings visibility to people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), portraying the routine, daily life and prejudices that the brilliant protagonist Woo Young-Woo (portrayed by actress Park Eun-bin) faces as she becomes the first lawyer with autism in South Korea. The play also portrays the social and motor difficulties that the disability causes in Miss Young-Woo's life, as well as her brilliance, high IQ and intelligence.
With just this little bit of information, we realize that Dorama is perfect for us to reflect on the past and deconstruct any prejudices and stereotypes that we people without disabilities may have.
Don't get ahead of yourself, the Kdrama has the romance that is standard for doramas, and it's Oscar-worthy, like all Dorama, the romance is perfect, very well structured, written, written and acted by the protagonists, it's cute, it warms the heart, and bring tissues or toilet paper, you'll be moved by the scenes.
The video image is spectacular, the sound effects, the special effects, the lights, the cast, the cinematographic space, the direction left nothing to be desired, it's perfect. If you're open to new perspectives and directions, this drama will give you a new outlook on life.
And I invite you to watch the lawyer who will steal your attention

An Extraordinary kdrama
I saw a bunch of hype and complaints from various people on tik tok when this series was still coming out. Eventually I had to check it out for myself and I am so glad I did. This is not a drama I'd want to miss out on because the acting, story, and visuals were amazing!I truly enjoyed Woo Young Woo's eureka moments every episode! It felt so unique and the imagery/ animations that would appear were wonderful as well! For instance the opening scene on the train/subway(?) with the whale swimming by and it's reoccurrence in the final episode were beautiful and fitting.
I really enjoyed the characters and story telling as well. The different angles to a case and the flow of it was fun to get immersed in. Similar to shows with mysteries, I found myself trying to solve/ think of other opportunities as well. Then when some cases didn't go the way I thought they would, I'd get emotional too. The topics they brought up were important as well like suicide/discrimination, the study culture in Korea, sexism in the work place, etc. Additionally having an autistic character was interesting and informative as well.
I remember people getting upset at the romance plot coming up, but I think they handled it well and showed some challenges. Like it's not all sunshine and roses. Besides that, I also think viewers need to consider what people like seeing. With fictional shows we (or at least I'd like to think) tend to want to see people happy and living life. Sure that's another plot, but if I wanted to see someone sad and alone or being alone and a "girl boss/don't need no man/partner" type of thing I wouldn't be watching kdramas/TV shows. I'm here for the nice feels and vibes and seeing people find love and happiness.
Anyway, besides all that I really enjoyed the cast and the characters themselves. I'm so thankful there will be a second season because I miss them already. Plus there is more character stuff I'd like to see, like from attorney Min-woo, we only got a small glimpse into his family and life. It's the same with Su-yeon, I'd just love to see more!
I bet my review seems like a mess and what not, but I'm just sharing my emotions towards this series off the top of my head after finishing it. I legit went through it so quickly, then held off watching the last episode because I didn't want it to end!
It's that good y'all! If you're hesitating to watch, JUST DO IT!!

A Gentle Genius Navigating Law, Life, and Humanity
This drama doesn’t shout to be heard. It listens first, then quietly changes you.Extraordinary Attorney Woo is a rare kind of brilliance. Thoughtful, warm, and profoundly humane. It follows Woo Young-woo, a rookie lawyer with autism, not as a novelty or a lesson, but as a fully realized person whose perspective reshapes the world around her. The storytelling is tender without being fragile, intelligent without being cold.
Young-woo’s mind works like a constellation. Patterns, facts, and logic connect in ways others can’t see, and the series treats this not as a hurdle to overcome but as a strength that deserves space and respect. The courtroom cases are compelling, but they never eclipse the heart of the story. Each one becomes a mirror, reflecting questions about fairness, dignity, and what it truly means to understand someone.
The supporting characters elevate the narrative rather than orbit it. Relationships evolve with patience and realism, especially as the show explores love, friendship, and professional growth without rushing or simplifying them. The romance is gentle and sincere, rooted in consent, curiosity, and emotional safety.
What makes Extraordinary Attorney Woo exceptional is its compassion. It doesn’t ask the audience to pity. It invites them to see, to slow down, and to recognize that difference is not deficiency. It’s simply another way of being human.
🐋 10/10 for its grace, its intelligence, and a story that proves kindness and competence can coexist beautifully.

Rewatch Value is a 10
I just rewatched it for the 4th time and it's still fresh. It's a classic. I don't know if there is a drama that I can rewatch it almost every other year and still find it so fresh and amazing. They just found the perfect actor for every role here. I don't think there is another actress who can give the innocence and intelligence of the female lead of this drama.
Yes, it's a feel good story. Yes, not every autistic person is going to be like this, and this drama shows it! I think it's ok to have a superhero who can showcase the genius of a autistic person. It reminds me of Justin Hoffman's Rain Man. Both Hoffman and Park Eun-bin show the contrary/endearing human and superhuman quality of autism.
I love that everyone is shown in a good light. Everyone deserves to be loved regardless of his/her handicap.
PERFECT SCORE

Well deserved Daesang for Park Eun Bin
Honestly I don’t know how Park Eun Bin did it, I cannot think of anyone else who could have done what she was able to pull off in this show. She’s truly a talent. She was able to portrait a disabled person realistically without causing any discomfort for the watchers. She was able to make me love her characters without feeling sorry.

"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" tells the story of Young Woo, a woman with autism and a genius at the same time, who starts working as a lawyer. The drama portrays her day-to-day life in this profession, trying to adapt, since people with autism have difficulty interacting and socializing.I love stories about people with some kind of disability, because they make us realize how precious life is and how we should be grateful for everything we have. Autistic characters have the incredible ability to instantly captivate, like Sang Tae in "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" and Si Won in "Good Doctor", with the unique and special way they see the world around them, it's impossible not to get caught up.
The romance between Young Woo and Jun Ho is light and very cute, it really gives you that feeling of first love. I loved the way he treated Young Woo as a person equal to him. Of course he is aware of Young Woo's difficulties, but Jun Ho always tried to respect her decisions, especially when the two started dating. What was the scene where he confessed to Young Woo?! So cute.
Park Eun Bin is simply incredible, I loved the moments when Young Woo has her epiphanies, full of whales. Kang Tae Oh is amazing with his cute and innocent personality. It was definitely his best drama so far.
This was the first drama in which Kang Ki Young got the attention he deserved. He was perfect in "Moment At Eighteen", but it was from "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" that people started to take an interest in him and I thought that was incredible, he is a wonderful actor and definitely deserves all this attention.

"I'm not sure if I can make you happy, I'm just someone you have to take care of."
I am writing this review as someone who can wholeheartedly relate to this drama.I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder from a young age. Like Young-Woo, I also struggled with fitting in and trying to change parts of me to become suitable to society. This drama portrays the life of an Autistic person perfectly. It shows the real life struggles with trying to work in a social space and how that can be challenging for someone with a disability.
It also portrays how an autistic person is fully capable of falling in love, maintaining a relationship and learning how they work along the way. It illustrates the challenges individuals with autism face in navigating emotions, grappling with deception, and experiencing moments of overwhelming emotions.
