On the day of the Incense Banquet, Wu Shuo Mo approaches Hua Qian to ask for help in obtaining Mu Yao. Xi Wu overhears the conversation, and Hua Qian makes it clear to him that she wants no part in the men’s schemes to obtain Mu Yao, which confuses him. He is later injured while trying to protect Hua Qian from her cousin. Shuo Mu makes a scene at the end of the banquet, which Hua Qian uses to her advantage to divorce Ye Lan.

Hmmm... Was him really from Wu family??? So shuomo kind of a villain then. OMG BRAVO QIAN let him feel guilty! Oh I get it Qian this whole time thought Xiwu had feelings for Mu Yao bcs of what happened in the past. Omg XIWU!! I want her to like him but Qian still wary of him. Humph shuomo got the answer right bcs Qian did something. Omg what will happen to xiwu and qian omg. The way Rongzhou snickered a bit seeing Qian's acting lmaooo
