She meets with Mu Yao to make a deal using the Mu family’s indentured servant contracts, which she obtained using the excess funds from the shops she visited previously. Ye Lan refuses the divorce letter Hua Qian sent him, but she is now worried that she may have acted prematurely, given his anger upon receiving it.
