Love this drama so much

Exclusive fairytale is soo good I've rewatched soo many times. I love how they put Jun from seventeen and Zhang Miao Yi together and it's soooo good. It about 2 friends growing up together and slowly developing feeling for each other and getting married. This drama was so funny to watch cuz of how Xiao Tu found Ling Chaos secret box with CDs inside of it. Their friend ship is so cute and funny because of how Xiao Tu thought Ling Chao got kidnapped and looked for him. Xiao Tu has a very energetic, positive and nice heart, sometimes she can get jealous but Ling Chao is mostly jealous and he has a cold face but is a straight A student. Ling Chao and Xiao Tu have amazing chemistry. I was so shocked on how there were 127 kiss scenes before watching it and I was prepared for all of them. I honestly love this couple and this drama reminds me Hidden Love. I definitely recommend this and if you want to watch something similar you can watch Hidden Love.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!! AMAZING!!

I just finished watching it and I can’t get over how good it was!! This is my first cdrama. I had to watch because of Jun and OMGGG! best decision ever!! first 2 episodes didn’t really hook me but before Ik it I think I was hooked by 3rd episode and on. I absolutely loved the FL. she has to be one of my fave FL of all times. I loved her clumsy, funny, lively, carefree, caring and kind way of being. how she was so sure of herself and was always looking out for others. a Queen!! I loved her sm!! And omg her chemistry with Jun was on point!! their mundane ways of looking out for each other were my fave and all their sweet and romantic scenes had me smiling and blushing like an idiot. and don’t even get me started about Jun!!!!!! I came for him and left even more in love with that talented mannnn! what can’t he do?! acting abilities were FIREEEEE! he portrayed Ling Chao so well. like the character felt so real to me. he did an amazing job!!! AND GOSHHHH WAS HE DREAMY!! LIKE CAN I PLEASE HAVE A LING CHAO FOR MYSELF?! he played my weak spot, a serious guy who only has eyes for his girl. I loved that whole “cold guy on the outside” but “reliable, detailed, caring on the inside”.
also the way they smoothly took their story from high school to college to adult life with glimpses into childhood, was impressive. I had always wanted to watch a drama following the main characters like that and this might be my first and I was so satisfied with the whole trajectory and development. it’s gonna take me a while to recover from such a drama high and let me tell you that few dramas leave me this happy until the very end!
oh also! the second male and female lead were great too! I also cheered them on and loved to see their story unfold throughout. all the characters were lovely.
in summary, it’s the perfect chill comfort show with the cutest main couple EVERRRR! I’d definitely 100000000% recommend this drama. would I rewatch it, HECK YEAH!!!

Delightful!

I don't often write reviews, but I couldn't help it. I REALLY enjoyed this. As a casual Seventeen listener, I don't think I would have been able to pick Jun out of a line-up, but now I'm paying attention. He was unexpectedly good in this. He has a great career ahead of him. He's a cutie and oh boy he can kiss!

So much chemistry with the adorable FL. Such cute friendships and I was really invested in the 2nd couple's story too. No horrible in laws or evil parents.

This is a sweet, uncomplicated drama. There's nothing extraordinary about it, but there's sweetness, love, simplicity and a wonderful ordinary-ness about it.

I will definitely rewatch this in the future!!

I’m still sad to see them go. i loved both families so much. no weird drama coming from them. just love and support on both sides. i loved that the storyline showed him being patient and guiding her despite being younger. he knew exactly what he wanted and he was not about to lose out on it. ml was a bit boring at times and i skipped some scenes because he just couldn’t keep my attention.
i loved the fl. i really thought her characted was the best one I had seen in a while. she was incredibly cute and funny. she was down to earth and not one of the ones that just can’t defend themselves. she had her head right and wasn’t about to take any crap from anyone. but still was cute and empathetic. she was straight forward with everyone about who she liked. no weird complications at all.
the entire drama was refreshing and I just hate to see them go.
the reason why i gave a 9.5 and not a 10 was because the ml was a bit boring and in one scene she was accused of cheating. she never cheated. she was clear from the beginning who her boyfriend is.
i will definitely watch it again. made me a bit nostalgic lol. i wish it would be longer and we could see more of their life now that they a family. also more of the parents. i really loved them. but not going to happen.
honestly, it feels like letting go of a family member. very sad

I actually enjoyed this show more than I expected. I was reluctant to watch this at first, because of how Miao Yi looks so much like Ariel Lin, who I forever have pigeon-holed in her “It Started With a Kiss” character of a dull-witted female chasing genius male, which this drama is almost akin of. Although Xiao Tu is similar to Xiang Qin from ISWAK on that front, she does not throw herself needlessly at Ling Chao, and has her own adorable charm. And though he appears aloof at most times, Ling Chao is unlike Zhi Shu and has a soft heart for his childhood friend.

The drama is mostly light-hearted, but it has its emotional moments, like when Ling Chao is dealing with his absentee father or when Juan Juan was coping with her relationship woes. But the gang of misfits provided comic relief, and Miao Yi certainly proved herself to be a natural. While there are some cringe moments, it is easy to overlook them. I love how this drama does not take itself seriously, and it is such a fun watch.
