What's the worst crime a series can commit? Be boring

The series started with the usual trappings of any makjang trying to be melo. It wanted to show the characters' feelings and how tragedy befelled the FL and also how everyone around her has benefitted from crimes committed against her and her family. Unfortunately it doesn't do it very well. It starts with the FL doing something questionable to draw the gaze of her target towards herself and it was so cringe, I can't even. The pull between the two leads that actually forms the conflict for her, whether she should stick to revenge or whether she should seek out love is not present. The script continuously tries to say they're drawn to each other but we never actually see it. The ML's acting is especially stiff. There are ways to show emotionally closed off without actually looking like you just got botox. Everytime they're on screen their chemistry is cringe. It'll make you want to fast forward to see the rest of the plot. Which by the way is so predictable that'll you can walk away from it to do the dishes and still not miss a beat on return. And seriously, what is up with the ML literally picking his mistress over his child (during the glass breaking scene)? This drama has been disappointing. Not just in terms of plot but also in terms of the acting. I'd say skip this one, its boring beyond words.
