Goodbye Earth Episode 12 Reactions
Beautiful, profound, understands 소확행 (sohwakhaeng), a small but certain happiness. Will make you think. I am annoyed with people who wanted this to be a fast action Hollywood type thriller and rated it low because it didn't conform to their expectations, when this piece of genuine art is asking us to bend ourselves instead . . . . This storyline is deeper and more real - we live in a time of existential risk to the planet, in truth. How will we or future generations react to this in our actual lives? This comes closer to that real answer than any film or series I have seen. I finished it a month ago and haven't stopped reflecting back and the meaning keeps growing. I loved this and to me it is so very Korean in spirit!
