The Rise of Ning (2024) is frequently compared to The Sword and the Brocade (2021) and The Story of Ming Lan due to its similar "slice of life" harem drama formula, featuring a smart female lead (FL), a devoted male lead (ML), and a slow-burn romance. Both dramas focus on navigating complex family dynamics, scheming relatives, and finding love
Although they both have different type of story but if you like the chemistry between the male lead and female lead then dont look further .. Legend of fuyao is one of the best chesmistry ever between both ml & fl lead.. The UI is not as advance as now but i assure you will like their relationship.. Give it a try till 20episodes upwards and you will be hooked
Both have very similar male and female leads in personalities and capabilities. Both male leads give off the impression of being weak, but are very intelligent and have built up their resources/intelligence network over time. Female leads are cunning and lovable. There is both a political and family plot, and most importantly, the dynamics between the leads, trust, and teamwork are exceptional with little to no miscommunication.

However, she discovers that the mastermind behind her mission is none other than Murong Jing He himself.
