The police sirens blared late at night, and the SWAT team assembled urgently, but Lu Xiao was absent. Tan Yan and Liao Bu Fan patrolled to Lu Hai Feng's club and encountered Lu Xiao again, this time in plainclothes, leading two girls. Tan Yan demanded that Lu Xiao write a self-criticism and report it to the bureau. Lu Xiao explained that the two girls were college students who had co-produced a video with Lu Zhong. Everyone fell silent, but Tan Yan insisted on punishment. Liao Bu Fan and Liu Lang pleaded for leniency, and Tan Yan agreed not to report it to the bureau, but instead had the entire team write a self-criticism. Nao Nao suddenly fell ill and became unconscious. Liao Bu Fan had Lu Xiao drive the police car to the hospital with the siren on. On the way, they performed CPR as instructed by the doctor, and Nao Nao's condition stabilized. When Xiao Yuan went to pay the hospital fees, she discovered that Lu Hai Feng had already paid for them. Lu Hai Feng asked Xiao Yuan for help, but Xiao Yuan flatly refused to get involved in his schemes anymore. Lu Hai Feng, however, said that her decision was not up to him.
