Cang Feng Episode 4

Director Guo and his colleagues visited Lu Zhong's family. Lu Zhong's wife, suppressing her grief, saw them off before breaking down in tears. A homemade gun used to kill Lu Zhong was found in Ji Min's jurisdiction. Fingerprint analysis identified Jin Yong Gang, a resident. Ji Min, familiar with the Jin family, insisted on working with them first. Gang Zi, wanted with a reward on his head, appeared at a small restaurant. Ji Min followed him to a hotel, where Gang Zi took a mother and child hostage. Using her familiarity with Gang Zi, Ji Min patiently comforted him. Tan Yan also arrived at the scene. Trusting Gang Zi, Gang Zi left the hotel and entered firing range. Liao Bu Fan ordered a sniper to shoot Gang Zi dead on the spot. Ji Min was heartbroken; Teacher Jin had treated her like a daughter, and now she didn't know how to face him. Director Guo gave Tan Yan the eulogy for Lu Zhong's memorial service, requesting it be grounded in reality. Tan Yan worked late into the rain, carefully crafting each word.
