Season: 1

Director Guo invited Tan Yan to go fishing at night, revealing that the personnel changes for the Publicity Department would be announced the following day. Tan Yan was convinced that he was the obvious choice for the position. The next day, the appointments were announced at a meeting: Zhao Guo Hua was appointed as the Publicity Department Director, and Tan Yan was transferred to the Special Police Team as Political Commissar. Tan Yan tried to influence the situation at home to no avail, so he first consulted with Liao Bu Fan. The two agreed to meet with Director Guo separately. Tan Yan, carrying steamed buns, subtly expressed to Director Guo that he was worried about affecting his work. Director Guo hinted that if he worked hard for two years, he could potentially succeed Director Yu, and Tan Yan immediately agreed. Liao Bu Fan then entered and demanded Tan Yan's transfer. Tan Yan quickly changed his tune, saying he would definitely adapt to the new position, and practically shoved Liao Bu Fan out the door. Tan Yan reported to the Special Police Team and found that Lu Xiao had placed a nauseating doll on the table to express his dissatisfaction. Director Guo personally arrived and gathered all the team members to announce the appointments. (Source: Chinese = ZuiAi.TV || Translation = kisskh)
